or like most HDTV's now you'll already have a HD receiver built into and be able to pick up those HD channels simply by plugging in the cable line in the back of your TV.
If you have cable getting a cable box is an easy route also.

I'm not sure how long prison is going to last, but it seemed to me that this was one of the fresher episodes (or two episodes) of the show. I really enjoyed it.

Edit: nevermind, it looks like they aren't going that way.
Also, Ben Foster sure plays crazy good.

Ben Foster was great in this episode! I just saw 3:10 To Yuma last weekend and Ben Foster was incredible in it (I had no idea who he was before seeing that), and now he's also incredibly good in the season premiere of "Earl". (Timely casting coup by the "Earl" producers.)

My recording was all hosed up. Digital noise every couple seconds, for a few seconds - repeating every 3-5 minutes. I only got about halfway through the episode before I was too annoyed to continue. Office was fine immediately after that.
Anyone know of a replay of this?

Joy was actually spot-on with her assessment of Randy, and Jaime Pressly doles out the lines without missing a beat, and was well-deserving of her Emmy win a few weeks ago.
Ben Foster turned in a good supporting performance, becoming yet another person who Earl has to help because of a wrong he inflicted on him.

I agree that Joy was spot on this week.
I like the change with Earl being in prison there are lots of great characters to explore, I guess adding Randy to the mix won't be that bad.
Now that Earl has some "juice" there should be more interaction with the inmates.

This show was wearing really thin on me at the end of last season, but I really liked this episode. As amazingly stupid as it sounds, I think Earl being locked up is going to make for some interesting story lines. I didn't initially think so either. Kind of makes sense. I mean the guy was a first rate tool. If the karma thing is real, he has some making up to do.
