Finally getting around to posting my list. I've got to say, overall, I've been pretty disappointed with most of the new shows. Even some of my OK shows mightn't get a second viewing (like Cane, Big Bang Theory, etc)

Reaper entertained me and I will stick that one out for the season. I was entetained by Private Practice even though some of it was painful to watch. I will stick it out for a little while. Lowered Back to you to will give it a few more episodes. Decided to record Life but haven't viewed it yet. |

Alright, I *Updated* my list & here’s my thoughts thus far…
•Kitchen Nightmares (Hilarious reality show, season pass) •Cane (solid acting, not quite a solid show but still gets my full attention) •Life (It’s Raines, so that means I like it= stickin’ with it) •Pushing Daisies (Best *NEW* show thus far, definite keeper) •The Big Bang Theory (Not the best sitcom, definitely not the worst either, stickin’ with it) •Back to You (Originally I was going to stick with it but the 2nd episode was pure awful & I doubt I’ll watch the 3rd, which I recorded) |

DVR Worthy: Burn Notice - Quality show, surprisingly good. Journeyman - Love time-travel plotlines and this one seems to be heading in the right direction. Heroes S2 - so far it stinks, but I'll keep tuning in for now Sarah Silverman S2 - Glad it's back Pushing Daisies - Hope it stays good Reaper - I like it better than Buffy I'll Give It a Few More Chances: Carpoolers - first episode was nothing special, but I'll watch a few more. Cavemen - Yawn inducing, but maybe it gets funny eventually? Eagerly Anticipating: Nip/Tuck California - Can't wait Sarah Connor Chronicles - how have some of you seen this already? Thought it wasn't out yet. Looked Promising, Turned Out Shitty: Bionic Woman - Pilot was good, but the 2nd episode was garbage. Chuck - Same story as Bionic... decent pilot, bad 2nd episode. Torchwood - So much hype for such a stupid show. Gave It a Shot, Gave Up: Kid Nation - Saw 2 minutes and shut it off... I hate children. Have Yet To Watch: Life Dirty Sexy Money |

Updated my list. I watched Life 2 days ago and it's okay. The lead character is very bizarre, but I like his partner and will stick it out for awhile. I agree with Nateman, it's a very "Raines"-like show. |

I watched Bionic Woman and Reaper. I thought the pilot for Reaper was okay but the second episode was bad. I'm done with that show. In regards to Bionic Woman, I sticking with the show. I gave up on Cane because I have too many shows to watch and had to cut some shows. It's not bad but is nothing too compelling for me to keep watching it. |

Bumping this thread. Now that the season is underway, I have already seen all the new shows and dropped most of the ones I was still sampling. I finally pulled the plug on Chuck, Reaper, and a few others. Just trying to prune my TV watching to shows I truly enjoy.

I've been playing catchup on Saturday's with alot of the programming I'm trying to follow.
The only shows I dropped are K-Ville, Back to you and I'm strongly considering dropping The Next Great American Band. The only band I really like is Sixwire and that's not enough to keep me watching for 2 hours every Friday. These are being dropped due to severe time constraints. Out of all the shows I've tried, there hasn't been one that I hated to drop. Reaper is pretty close to being dropped since I'm 5 episodes behind and it's difficult to play catchup in addition to current shows I watch. |
