'SNL' Spoof Video (DIAB) Name May Be Changed

From Studio Briefing:

Emmy Group Demands Title of 'SNL' Spoof Video Be Changed
It may be one of the most-watched videos in the history of YouTube, but the Justin Timberlake-Andy Samberg video "D**k in a Box," originally produced for Saturday Night Live, has hit a stone wall with the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences. The Academy has notified the writer/performers that it will not show the video at this month's Emmy Awards unless the title is changed. According to E! Online, Timberlake has informed the Academy that he is against changing the title.

So they will show a video of guys with boxes on their dicks, and singing "dick in a box", but the title can't be dick in a box?
That makes alot of sense.

I thought it was referred to as Junk in a Box when they didn't want to use the word dick.

That's correct. The MTV Movie Awards nominated(and gave the award to) "Uncle F-cka".

Fuck 'em if they can't recognize a song without changing it into something it's not. Andy Samberg could get alot of press by refusing to change it, probably more than if he won. And it's not like JT needs to back down, he knows it's hard out here for a pimp.

Fine. Don't air it. Hopefully the writer/performers don't cave. Stick up for their work, and tell the Academy to fuck off.

That video never gets old no matter how many times I come back to it. Best thing SNL has done since the Paris Hilton "Merv The Perv" sketch.

This past season sucked. But DIAB was one of the absolutely funniest videos I have ever seen. It was truly brilliant.

Yeah it's had some great moments the last several years.

The host makes or breaks the episodes.
