It's a pretty cool show. I love watching dissected arial combat.

I just started watching the DVDs and it has been pretty interesting. Overall though I have to say I like Shootout better.

Yea, I love this show, good thing for the Tivo though since it's on Friday nights. They sometimes stretch out the fights a little long though, when they come back from commercial they repeat the last minute of explanation they gave before the commercial to bring everyone back up to speed.

I especially like the Korean battles with the Sabre jets. The 7 day war ones were interesting. I wonder if they will get any of the Desert Storm ones in.

I did see they showed the one that Top gun is roughly based on.

Bill,

It uses pretty fantastic (especially the second season) computer animation to show you pivotal dogfights of past wars... the also interview the pilots (now cute old codgers) who survived to tell the tale... it dissects the entire fight... I eat this stuff up like crazy... especially the WW2 prop-fighter stuff... definitely worth a view if you are a war buff...
