As far as parents or teachers though, you are correct. I'm thinking they showed the cat at one point as well.

Another M*A*S*H one: I don't think we ever saw Hawkeye's father. I have all 11 seasons on DVD & have watched every single episode exept for the "Goodbye, Farewell & Amen" series finale. If he appeared in the finale could you please do a spoiler tag, because I have never (Yeah, I live under a rock) seen the final episode of M*A*S*H.

Did we ever see Charlie (of Angels fame)?
Let's not forget Karen Walker's husband Stanley on Will & Grace!

Thanks for the corrections on M*A*S*H, all. I'd forgotten everyone who was in the "Home Movies" episodes except for Radar playing his mom.
One last M*A*S*H mention has to go to Radar's/Klinger's hook-up for skag, Sparky.
Don't forget the inimitable Sam Bailey from "Mayberry RFD." He's barely mentioned by Andy or anyone else, yet 'everyone knows him' when he just shows up one day to take charge.
And a silly, yet obvious mention goes out to "Mork and Mindy"'s Orson.

We never saw the waitress Barney was dallying with over the phone, though, before he committed to Thelma Lou. What was her name...Juanita?

As to Otis, Wikipedia backs me up that he was married. We apparently see his wife in season 1 as well according to IMDB. It's episode 25 -- A Plaque for Mayberry.

Jenny Piccalo from Happy Days was one of those unseen characters, until Richie and Ralph left and they were desperate to fill the gap with all sorts of characters... voila, Jenny's here!
How about George Costanza's brother? He was mentioned once but never seen, and we never heard about him again.

What was the name of the character on Seinfeld that was friends with Kramer who had some crazy schemes (knew where to buy the 'rat' hat)? Bob Saccomato? Did we ever see him?
