Chachi is 45 and Not With Joanie Anymore

And, please dont call him Chachi.

I find the show very solid. Baio comes across as very human. Not comfortable with the whole celebrity thing.

Wish I had his syndication checks for 'Charles in Charge', though. Nice way to make a living.

IIRC, it was a network show for one year, got cancelled, and then was syndicated with different actors and he was in charge of a different family.

Big 4 in the first year. Syndication the rest of the run.

Julie McCullough used to shiver me timbers back in the Growing Pains days. She still looks pretty decent.

Did you see her on The Girls Next Door? Apparently Julie is trying to do stand up.

i watched the first 2 episodes. its just so over the top fake it doesnt work for me. baio's friend fighting with joanie, and then trying to work on baio's agents and clint howard. i know all these shows are set ups but this one is too fake to even be remotely tricked into thinking anything is legit.

I never understood the appeal of Chachi. I'm sure being related to "The Fonz" had something to do with it.

I only caught a few minutes of this (the stand up comedy girl scene). Seemed like an ok show, especially since I do enjoy Baio related projects.

Has Buddy made any guest appearances yet? I'd like to see those two back together. They were quite a team.

It originally ran on CBS for a single season, '84 - '85. It's return in syndication wasn't immediate but a few years later.

Fox didn't exist when Charles in Charge first started, so it was the Big 3, not the Big 4.

I'm only watching this because I know two girls that have dated Baio.

But yeah, it's beyond fake - I'd say over 50% of the set-ups aren't genuine, if that.

The new season is just terrible, so obviously scripted it's painful. The music is great though, all the greatest 80s songs..

Wait. Didn't he get married? How could they have a new season of this assclown if he's now married?

I don't think so. He and his girlfriend Renee Sloane had a baby girl on November 2, 2007.
