Hey Paula! Anyone Watching This TRAIN Wreck?

I wasn't going to watch this.. but I started flipping and before you know it, I was on Bravo and there she was in all her glory.
Wow! This woman is a total nut case!
She says she's an insomniac and gets very ditzy when tried. They showed when she was on that AI talk show circuit earlier this year, where she had to do hundreds of satellite interviews in a couple of hours, she had no sleep and there was something wrong w/ the audio feed and the media went nuts and started the whole 'drunk Paula' thing.
I'm tempted to put it on Season Pass because it is a train wreck and you can't help to watch.

I like the Surreal Life even though It's %100 TRAINWRECK Television but at least It's good TRAINWRECK.
I hate American Idol with a passion & think It's an insult to Television so that said If I do catch this show with Paula I'll probally watch it.

The gf has been looking forward to this one. But now we're already annoyed with it because it's obvious that they're using this as a vehicle to explain away her irratic (see: chemically induced) behavior on sleepiness. Come on, that one insane rambling interview was just because she was tired? Nice try, Paula.

this show only proves how big of a mess she really is. she may never have 'gotten drunk or used recreational drugs' but the insomnia is taking its toll. the ceremony with tim gunn and afterwards at starbucks she was a complete wreck.

should be interesting when they try to explain the whole 'broken nose' incident.

I'm watching it, mainly to see if my co-worker's wife makes it on the show. She does makeup for QVC and I guess they filmed her a lot while they were making this show. But my friend said that Paula has now been fired from QVC so who knows, maybe they will downplay the QVC thing.

Bravo is replaying this about 2 dozen times this week. It runs for 30 min and this past week, they aired two segments.

I'd watch if I had Bravo. I was a fan of her music way back when and I do watch Idol. I read reviews that have said the show is boring.

I am still trying to recover from her mess of a music career in the 80's. I don't need to watch this too. I have much better things to do.

Just a reminder for those who say they aren't watching but either are lying and are watching or dying to watch.... it's on tonight! On Bravo!

Is there just one new ep or 2 tonight? My Tivo is only set to record the first ep, it says the second is a repeat.

I have to every time I remember she's judging someone's talent. This gal has one of the thinnest voices in bad pop music and SHE is judging talent?

I just popped in to ask why TRAIN is in all caps in the thread title? Is there an Abdul-train scandal I'm not privy to?

Just wanted to empathize how big a train wreck this woman/show is.
I caught a few minutes of one yesterday afternoon...
She's whacked. Totally whacked.
She was going to the Grammy's. Had a million dollars worth of jewelry sent to the house that was on loan.... she's got 3 very small dogs, that were bouncing all over the bed while she was playing with the very expensive jewelry.. sure enough.. one of the dogs takes a ring in his mouth. She was laughing at the fact that this dog had this very expensive ring in it's mouth. She finally got the dog to open and release and she politely took the ring out of the dogs mouth and placed it in her assistant's hand. I'm not sure if it was then that she told her housekeeper she had to pick up all the dog shit outside.. and there was alot of it.

Jadiza, I'm not sure how many are running tonight. Sorry.

I'm at work and it's so I saw that Bravo is running eps back to back. She's crazy like a loon and probably on something but she's still a good looking woman. Yummy...

What i find fascinating about seeing Celebs like this with all their "people" is the fact that not one of them can be tough and tell her things like you need sleep, you need to chill out and prepare for your speech, or even Paula just remember...the cameras are rolling.

What gives? She's not popular with "the tribe"?

Giantrobo you should know me better by now. I've never really gotten into the stereotypical gay music. When Paula was dancing with that cheesy cartoon cat and singing through her nose, I was listening to Social Distortion, The Jesus and Mary Chain, etc.

If someone was filming me 24 hours a day, I'm sure they could edit together 22 minutes of footage that would make me look like I'm barking maddog crazy too.

I fell over when she pulled 'her people' together for a MASSIVE meeting to figure out how to deal with all the fall out from her 'drunken' outbursts.... and sitting among her powerful people was her HAIRDRESSER!

To my knowledge, Paula Abdul is not that popular with the gays.

They spend years in their own reinforcing bubbles with no reality checks. Sad watching someone like Michael Jackson or Britney Spears deginerate into literal madness, mostly because there's no one around to snap them out of it, to confront them on the little things, before they become entirely warped and paranoid personas.

That was a shitty finale...

Just a bunch of clips that they couldn't manage to turn into full episodes. Ugh.
