Really liked it again.
What was Kai looking at at the end, when she said, "what's going on , John?"??? Just the media circus? And did the media see Shaunie skating?

I think they were just looking at Shaun skating. I do think that the media could see them.
I liked this episode. The "visions" development was interesting. The dialogue is so odd, though. It's like they put Deadwood dialogue through an english babelfish translator.

I find it strange how much they are focusing on this character from Hawaii. It feels like Milch is saying "Hey, you cancelled Deadwood, so I'm going to use this character to keep reminding you what you took from me."
From first impressions, I liked this episode least of all the eps shown thus far. It just felt a little too drawn out, and I'd like to see an opposing force, or a direction introduced soon. And no, Dylan doesn't count.

Also, can anyone make heads or tails of the lotto winner?

I really kind of liked this episode...it had a wacky kind of slapstick thing going on. The hospital escape was really well done, we got to see an interesting John superpower moment, more Charlie Udder, Butchie wasn't nearly as annoying as normal, and even the three stooges at the hotel were kind of funny.

I like the scenes with John and Kai, so hopefully we will get more. A decent episode last night, just wish they would get rid of the Luke Perry character, he is not doing anything for the show.

Say what you will, there's nothing else like this show on TV right now. It's very odd, but at the same time, compelling to watch, even though it confuses and befuddles me from time to time.
What are Butchie's implants? Hair plugs? Something drug-related?

One thing I love about this show, and it might not be a big deal to some, is the fact that we are only into 3 episodes, and all of the main characters are aware of most of the supernatural happenings that have been going on. People on this show actually talk or witness these things happening! I don't mean to compare this to Lost directly, but it is nice to see a show where people do not internalize everything that is extra-ordinary.

Good point. One of the most annoying elements of Lost is their never discussing anything until the "dramatic" moment.
Here's my question: Does John "know" he is god?
