The problem when you go with a smaller threat, is that people might not care. All really personal angles have already been used (Bauer's family/friends in danger). I can't think of anything original for 24. Get rid of all the cliche plot devices and try something different |

Turn the show, all creative control, over to a proven genius at running a show while writing it for at least one season...Joss Whedon, Ron Moore, Judd Apatow or David Milch. Then there will be so much creative juice pumped into the show that they could continue it until freaking 2020.

Someone on the Television without Pity Site claims to have the season premiere script and gave alot of detailed information. I don't know if it's legit or not. I skimmed through it, but here are some small details.
