New David Chase series: would you watch it?

I would probably at least give it a chance for a few eps. But wouldn't stick around if it didn't grab me after five.

As with anything else if it looks good I'd try it on for size. Chase wrote loads of great episodes for Sopranos so I'd be curious to see where he goes next.

Hey! Another Sopranos thread for people to vent in.

Let's see...The Sopranos, Northern Exposure, I'll Fly Away, The Rockford Files...yeah, it's a pretty safe bet I'll check out whatever David Chase does next.

Let's see... guy creates what's probably the greatest TV series of all time. Why would I want to watch something else he does?

I've never seen The Sopranos, but if he did a show that interested me, I'd watch.

WOW! A director or actor makes one movie you don't like so you never watch another movie they make and forget about all there good work before that? This is ridiculous especially for a place like this.

Did I say I was never going to watch anything by him again? No, I said I would. Others have said they wouldn't and I hope you are referring to them.
In terms of this thread being stupid, well, I'm only asking a question for the purpose of curiousity. If everything that was done on the internet for self-interest and curiousity purposes ceased to exist a lot of the net would cease to exist as well.

It's about a bunch of lazy TV viewers who want every plot point spoon-fed to them, and who don't want to have to think about multiple interpretations of symbolism and dialogue. They all get together and bitch about how their favorite shows 'jumped the shark' and when.

Does it really matter who creates the show? Isn't it the show itself that would be the reason why you would or wouldn't watch it?

Don't forget that they have to mock those who enjoy art and ambiguity by calling them elitist and/or pompous. Sponsored by Miller Lite.

I like to call you Chase apologists much like people call Star Wars Prequel fans Lucas apologists.

Except the difference is that Lucas underachieved, and Chase shot a friggin' rocket over most of your heads.
