just started battlestar galactica, watched the miniseries and the first 4 eps of season 1.. kinda dissapointed. heard so much great things about it, but it didn't really hook me, and doesnt make me want to not stop watching (like the shield, the wire, 24, heroes, etc..)

also started dexter, this show is amazing, so glad i decided to watch it. GREAT show.. watched first 6 eps yesterday

I haven't seen anything past season one, but it does get better in that season.

I've watched the first three or four episodes of the Unit. Awesome show. I can't believe I haven't been watching this.

I wanna watch the entire series of the OC, but so many people are telling me just to watch seasons 1 & 4 that I'm kinda getting scarred.

I've already caught up on Weeds, Big Love, Dexter, & The Shield, the future things are Desperate Housewives, Alias, The Wire, Sopranos, It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia, Oz, & Six Feet Under... It seems like a lot, but I have trouble sleeping anyways so its tv or just laying there. Can't wait to finish Sopranos

Taking FNL, BSG off the list and replacing them with Dexter, The Sopranos, 6FU (maybe)

Finally caught up on The Unit. Fantastic finish to a solid season. I'm looking forward to the DVD in the fall with all the extras. 1 more episode to go before I'm caught up with Bones.....I actually skipped 3 episodes and watched the season finale live in May and IMO it was a huge disappointment.

I'm 8 episodes behind on Studio 60. Even though it's canned, I'm going to finish it. Every episode I've seen has been solid.

I'm 5 episodes behind on Painkiller Jane. IMO, it's a decent show. I would say it's equal to a B version of Alias/La Femme Nikita. Kristanna Lokken is nice to look at, but not a very good actress.

Watched seasons 1 & 2 of The 4400. Have to pick up season 3 (will DVR the new episodes...)

Just started season 1 of Battlestar Galactica (any release date for Season 3 yet?)

May check out Angel as well sometime soon...

It definately has its ups and downs, but the ups outnumber the downs. I've found it to be a very entertaining little show that many people can relate to. I grew up in a very similar family (although a little less politically charged) and I get a kick out of watching such a similar group of people interact...

Season two is very good as well, just not the quality of season 1. Season 3 is another story - at times its hard to watch, but it worth it in the end. I haven't seen season 4 year (went to college and had to give up some shows) so I'm looking forward to watching that this summer with season 2 of "90210" and "Melrose Place" as well as the last seasons of "Heroes," "Friday Night Lights," "Jericho," and "Nip/tuck"

The OC is actually on Soapnet right now. I'm not sure what season it's on right now.

As far as watching Season 1-4 on DVD, unless you have Netflix, Blockbuster and Hollywood video don't carry it in store.
Season 1 is 27 episodes.....It's very good TV and you could probably get through it in 1 week or less.
Season 2 is 24 episodes and it's tough to get through, but still entertaining.
Season 3 is 25 episodes and it was a Jeckyll and Hyde season
Season 4 is a short and sweet 16 episodes and easily the best TV since season 1.

If your serious about watching the entire series, I think you can probably finish it within a month with some marathon sessions.

Highly recommend Brothers and Sisters. It's probably the most compelling family drama since Once and Again (Sela Ward and Billy Campbell) Good acting and good stories and all the characters are likeable.

Emily VanCamp doesn't appear until very late in the season. The DVD's come out in September and season 2 will probably start around that time, so unless you know someone who has it taped, it may not be feasible to catch up on all 23 episodes.
