Well thanks to whomever left all those barrels of explosive oil on the decomissioned deck!

Ok, let me get this straight... Phillip Bauer, the man that's been a step ahead of CTU all season, was not only dumb enough to bring the chip with him to the platform, but he had already given it to Chang? And why did Chang give it back?

Huh. Despite the lack of a BIG SHOCKING ENDING, I thought that was a good finale to an abortion of a season. Those big surprise endings are almost always completely undercut by the next season premiere anyway.

umm.

ummmmm.

I cant even blame my DVR for cutting off on this one....

Maybe that was just quiet closure to everything, to start fresh next season?

I waited weeks to find out who the character might be and a saving grace for the series just to get that ending? What a turd! Hell, I don't have enough toilet paper to wipe that shit out of mind.

Man, do I feel like a dumb motherfucker.

All day today I was like "I'll watch the first hour of 24 and then switch over to Heroes and find "alternate" ways to watch the last hour of 24". Then I was like "Man, i've been watching this show live for 5 years and even though this season has been a terrible clusterfuck, I still have allegiance to Kiefer and hope he'll be able to send the season off as good as it started."

Man, am I dumb. Next season...Heroes all the way.

What exactly was the spoiler? Some character would come back from the dead and talk to Jack? I don't think there's any way any dead 24 character could come back and have it not be lame.

I don't see why anyone is upset about lame ass spoilers that didnt come true. It came from Aint It Cool News for chrissake! Are you surprised it didnt come true? Was this the first time the show did a fade to black at the end? Maybe the spoilers were correct but they decided to change it at the last minute due to the critics.

Anyway, the ending was fine. You can tell they are trying to get a fresh start to the show.

Who was "supposed" to come back?

Whatever, they showed him in the previews for next year.
Those are clips from the season that just wrapped up.

The season was a mess, but the ending was good enough. I didn't read any spoilers so I wasn't expecting anything HUGE so I wasn't disappointed. I think they are in good shape to pull out of their rut next year with that. I'll be there.

Chloe preggers??? Was there even a hint that she could be the mother type while caring for Chase's baby? Since she gets around the office, Is Morris the baby's daddy? Meh...

Doyle getting blinded-ed.

Very good stuff from Kiefer & William Devane in the last 10min., but it can't make up for this sorry, dismal season. Milo's brother should have just went postal on CTU.

GRADE for Season 6: C (I'm being very generous here. But this is 24's worst season!)

"next year promises to be the best season yet." FOX and their dubious promises.

The only station that has stated that and had the show live up to it was ABC with LOST.

I've heard that the 24 people are going to "revamp" the show for the next 2 seasons. What that means I have no clue, but it makes sense to end it how they did if that's really what the plan is. The way it stands Jack has nothing to do at the moment, so the writers are free to take his character wherever they want. Hopefully they'll take the hints and focus most of their time on Jack next season.

It looks like the producers changed the ending. The spoilers were fairly accurate except the end.

Well at least they listened to the critics/fans. Even though Bauer had a gun in his hand and recieved the silent clock treatment, nobody thinks he killed himself. This ending gives them a completely fresh start for next season.

The original ending had somebody telling Jack to get in the car. Bauer had a shocked look on his face. People were hoping it was going to be Tony.

I'm sure we will get a lot of what happened to Lisa Miller, Wayne Palmer, and Charles/Martha Logan posts.

As I've said before, revamping the show won't do a damn thing. It's the writers that are a problem. It's not the show that's turning out bad scripts and characters we don't give a shit about, it's the writers.
