heroes marathon question
 

I saw Sci-fi played a heroes marathon on Sat-Sun. I haven;t been watching, but I decided to Tivo the marathon to stat watching the show. The order they tivo'd in is not the same order they are listed in on imdb, did anyone catch this? Were these aired out of order? was there a reason?

I believe the were run in order but one episode, 1.8 I think, was not shown. No idea why. It was the one with Charlie, the waitress. Anyone know why they didn't run that one?

from a theory I read elsewhere (and as good as any) is that the running order was so that the most recent episodes would air in prime time

this was my first time trying to sit and watch the show and clearly it is not a show you can just jump in on mid season... this is the show you have to watch from the pilot on

good thing is I believe NBC has the shows all available on the web

I TiVo'd this marathon and have gotten through the first two episodes so far. Pretty cool show. I'll probably watch the missing episodes on NBC's website.

What is the point of a marathon for a serial show if you air the episodes out of order (and leave one out)? -confused-

Thanks for the info, that will come in handy. I noticed my Tivo was recording a whole bunch of Heroes, but I assumed they were in order. Pretty stupid to run them out of order, but the DVR makes that just a minor annoyance. And the DVD recorder will solve that problem completely.

I started watching the show about 6 episodes in, and have been looking forward to seeing the first few episodes to see how it all started.
