Entourage - "The Prince's Bride" - 5/20/07

"The Prince's Bride"
Spoiler:
Drama has an offer from Brett Ratner for Rush Hour 3. Ari finds a backer for Medellin, but the source of his wealth, and his wife's intentions toward Vince, are shady. Turtle has a date with Kelly--under the watchful eye of her father.

Please tell me Brett Ratner does not have parties like that in real life. I guess being a hired gun for a cookie cutter movie that makes over $100 million its first weekend can get you places.
If Vince gets involved with that wife, he will be in territory that legitimately endangers more than his career.

Do fucked up deals like that go on often in Hollywood? If so, that place must operate by a totally different set of rules from the rest of the world.

Looks like Debi Mazar is coming back.

"Now get up there and fuck my wife like the superstar that you are!"

If I had a dollar for every time that was said to me.

Good episode. Ratner did pretty well as the guest star. I was hoping they would find a way to get Walsh back on the show. Looks like he's gonna direct Vince again.

Walsh and "Suit" as director and producer should make for some great comedy

Did I miss something or are you guys just openly discussing the "next week on..." scenes? Pretty lame if so.

Drama was great, of course. I loved how he got himself a tiny part and still managed to spin it for the teenager like he hooked him up.

I could absolutely not care any less about Turtle and his new girl than I do right now. However, I would like to know his real first name. Has it ever been mentioned?

It's never been mentioned, but the real Turtle was named, Donnie "Donkey" Carroll.

Oh for crying out loud they're not like other HBO shows that throw some random stuff together and leave you to guess what's important

With the real Rush Hour 3 coming, any chance Kevin Dillon will play a bus driver?

What's up with all the usage of "that"? You're like Dianne Wiest in Parenthood ("That Todd").

No mention about E's "little hands"... that shit had me cracking up

...up til Vince getting another POA handed to him... geez... already had Carla Gugino's agent throw herself at him...

Another amusing episode, could have dont without the Turtle romance though

This episode had the hotest chicks!

I went to bed thinking - If I was rich and famous I would have those parties. I don't care if I went broke in a month - it would be worth it.

And if I was Vince I would hit that dudes wife!

It was be insanely cool if he did, and if he was credited as "Johnny Chase" or "Johnny Drama." I would instantly have more respect for Rush Hour 3 than I do now, which is about nil.

I would too... with a crowbar.
That chick was fugly as hell, with a face that looked like it was melting.
If Vince had found her attractive, he wouldn't have taken Eric with him to the meeting.

I am pretty sure Vince bringing Eric had more to do with him being a little leery of Prince Naseem than how hot or not he thought the woman was.

Getting a check for $60 million AND getting to fuck the wife of the guy who gave you the check? Screw you guys, I'm going to Hollywood!

Nice job by Drama to get a part in the movie and make the kid pay for it.
