Fox Pilot Pickups and a few renewals
The Terminator franchise will be back in some way... and I can't believe Till Death is being given another season. I guess Fox is occasionally good to their newer comedies (they did give Arrested Development three seasons to foster an audience)

FOX RENEWS 'DEATH' VOWS, PICKS UP SEXTET
By Brian Ford Sullivan (TFC)
LOS ANGELES (thefutoncritic.com) -- FOX is staying married to "'Til Death" for another season while six pilots - three dramas and three comedies - have been issued series orders.
"Death's" second season renewal had been widely expected after its post-"American Idol" boost last month.
As for the network's freshman class for 2007-08, the dramas include "Sarah Connor Chronicles," a small screen take on the "Terminator" film franchise set between the last two films with "300's" Lena Headey in the title role; "New Amsterdam," about a 400-year-old cop (Nikolaj Coster Waldau) cursed with immortality until he finds true love; and "K-Ville," a police procedural set in post-Katrina New Orleans starring Anthony Anderson and Cole Hauser.
On the comedy side, Amy Sherman-Palladino's "The Return of Jezebel James," the Farrelly brothers' "Rules for Starting Over" and the Kelsey Grammer/Patricia Heaton-led "Back to You" have all been given the go ahead.
As always, full details about each of the newcomers can be found using the links to the right.

Cool - looking forward to the two episodes of "Sarah Connor" and three of "New Amsterdam" Fox will air before they get cancelled.

These people canceled AD, yeah.
I have a feeling that later in a year we'll see the majority of this post again, only instead of being called "pickups and a few renewals", it'll be titled "canceled".

I'll watch anything Amy Sherman-Palladino has her name attached to, and the fact that this show seems interesting is the icing on the cake. I'll definatly be checking out "Sarah Conner Chronicles" as well (I hope "Nurses" and "Apostales" get picksups next week)...

I will have to check out the new Kelsey Grammar series. I doubt it will touch the work he did on Frasier, but it might be good in it's own right. And if it's really good, I plan on seeing last for three or six episodes.

Curious about Kelsey's show, and Sarah Connor chronicles, but also anthony anderson does very well in dramas so as long as its not over the top it should be good.
