Barry was a nice guy, but I thought with all his work with others that he would be more helpful (of course, they may have edited that out). I liked Jordin's first performance, Blake's first performance (and I was glad because I hated last week's), and thought Melinda's second song was ok. Hard to believe one of this bunch is the next American Idol.

Jordin was great on the first song, not so good on the second. Lakisha and Blake were terrible. Lakisha's first choice in clothes was also AWFUL. She should go home on that alone... and she ignored Barry's advice completely on the first song. Melinda did okay.
Hopefully Lakisha will go home tomorrow.

Randy said it perfectly... Just because you can do beatbox doesn't mean you should do it with every song. Personally he needs to stop doing it all together. Blake needs to go after tonight. And what was with his song choices?!

Blake was awful, LaKisha thinks she's so good she doesn't need to listen to some old white dude's advice. Melinda was predictable. Jordin was pitchy on the second one.

I officially dislike all the singers and feel this competition is becoming like a choice between chlamydia and and syphllis. I really at this point could care less who wins. They all stink.

Yeah, and it was like he couldn't open his mouth very much -- reminded me of how Sean Connery speaks with kind of that locked back jaw.
I think Blake made poor song choices. . .he may survive being the only guy, but honestly probably doesn't deserve to.
Barry was way over the top praising Jordin. I found her very shrill on the second song.

Barry has been like that for a while now. Could be dentures. With all due respect, he is looking old.
I didn't find anything horrible though Blake did come close. Nothing stellar either. I didn't think Lakisha was as bad as she was made out to be. Jordin has a thing for ballads....that's all I've got.

Blake and LaKisha both sucked. I think LaKisha's going home and that's fair since she's sucked more consistently in recent weeks. Either Paula or Simon mentioned that Blake should've picked "Jive Talkin'" and I agree. That would've been a much better choice than his 2nd song.
I'm not surprised we didn't hear "More Than a Woman" since the 4 finalists consist of 3 women and 1 dude who's heterosexuality is in doubt.

Not that I think he is a great talent, but if Blake goes, I'll have no reason to continue watching the show. The remaining three women are fairly interchangeable to me, all with rather identical singing styles that I have absolutely no interest in listening to, ever.

This show is rude, two weeks of guy singers, Bon Jovi and now Gibb. You think they want Blake to survive another week or what? I wonder if it was reversed (3 guys 1 girl) would they have had Whitney Houston song week instead?
Blake stunk, but his fans will rally with the Simon laying down the gauntlet. Lakisha being out of gas on the 2nd song hurt her more than the song choice. I thought Jordin was smart with her Streisand choice, and listening back to Melinda, she was very solid on both songs.
