I feel guilty for not watching is anymore. This week will make 3 on the bottom of the DVR. How many have to pile up to officially give up on a show. I guess there's only so many ways to skin a dead horse or something like that.

Boo to more White House bullshit. I was hoping that they'd just let the whole thing quietly die off.
"Jack, you can't go against the White House!!!" Umm, Ricky? You don't know Jack very well, do you?

Decent ep tonight. It made for a good transition ep since the story has changed so suddenly. Next week looks crazy.

Must we complain about this every week?
This was a weak episode though, but its a transition episode.

I enjoyed this transition episode. Love the pairing of Boothe & Matchett.
But boy did they telegraph that press conference scene and Palmer's inevitable collapse. Don't even care at this point how Wayne got into office, just as long as we don't have to suffer thru another wooden performance (found it funny how the diagnosis by the Prez's doctor afterwards managed to sum up much of this season.)
After two seasons, you'd think Chloe would learn to keep mum about Jack's rogue missions, even if that mission risks igniting WW3.

I dont know if Wayne was supposed to go down the way he did, but I kinda laughed at how he pulled it off
"Oh crap I'm supposed to hit the floor now ... but how to do it and not get hurt?"
or maybe Johnny Cage from MK "This is where you fall down"

Great episode.
Who is the blonde with the vice president?
I loved that shot of them both standing together as Wayne fell down. They looked so sinister and ominous.
Anyone have a screencap of that?

Apparently the Chinese had quite a master plan:
(1) Anticipate a future attack on America with suitcase nukes.
(2) Capture Jack.
(3) Lure Audrey from the safety of the U.S. When she arrives in China, capture her too.
(4) Fake Audrey's death.
(5) Never reveal to Jack while he's a prisoner that they have Audrey because this would interfere with their plan to...
(6) Release Jack so he could be handed by the U.S. over to Fayed, which is probably the trickiest step in their master plan because it relies on...
(7) Jack escaping from Fayed in five minutes despite never being able to escape from a Chinese prison for two years. That will naturally lead to the most important step which is...
(8) Jack single handedly recovers the suitcase nukes at precisely 10:59pm later that day, (the exact time being of vital importance because this is the moment the Chinese plan to...)
(9) Call Jack and finally reveal they were holding Audrey hostage all along. If he doesn't have the nukes at precisely 10:59pm, that might make the final step a little awkward, which is...
(10) Demand an exchange for Russian technology which is between 20 to 30 years old but is apparently so valuable that everyone from the President to the Vice President to Bill Buchanan to Chloe to Morris to Jack can immediately recite off the top of their heads what a J-47 Circuit Board Whooziwhatsit is capable of doing.
