"You hunkered down on me like you were hiding from a border patrol agent"

I thought it was a good episode

Geofferson 04-15-07 09:51 PM

Another solid episode...glad to see Jason Gedrick in a supporting role.

Good episode. But you can tell that the "Alma" storyline was supposed to be the season finale. It feels like they don't know where they are going. With only 5 episodes left it doesn't feel like they are wrapping anything up.

Not to mention they really don't have anything to do with Orson. He hasn't been on since the poker episode, has he?

And no comments yet on McClusky? It looks like they could be setting up a mystery for season four!

Patman 04-15-07 10:35 PM

It was a good episode to view while folding clothes, and I did!

cdollaz 04-15-07 10:53 PM

Why exactly did that car not sink?

DAMM! WTF do they have in store for Ms. McClusky?

Ok episode. I still don't see any real chemistry b/t Longoria & Slattery.

After the episode airs you don't have to spoiler what happened.

This show is just missing something when Bree isn't around. :(

Theory 1: The air bags provide positive flotation (wrong, but it works for Susan).
Theory 2: The pond was shallow. It was resting on its roof. They could have walked to shore.

I was distracted during this part ... if they could walk ashore, why didn't they? Was this all some diabolical plan to get Mike a free electronic juicer?

al_bundy 04-16-07 08:44 AM

the thing about the freezer at the end,

i guess after the sex of the first season they need to make up new and weird plot lines

MrE 04-16-07 10:18 AM

I thought the freezer was the weakest part of the episode. Real nice otherwise.

What I thought was eventually going to happen was that Mike, realizing the water was shallow, was just going to stand up during the rescue and give the Brit a "you are a dumbass, the water is only 4 feet deep" look. Since they have been making Mike out to be the good guy during this whole thing I thought it would be another situation where they make the Brit seem inferior.

I guessed wrong. I guess it was just on oversight on the writer's part since that car would have sunk immediately.

Congrats to "Kiss of Death" Jason Gedrick for finally being on a hit TV show!

Ten bucks says somewhere in his backstory he is a rapist.

Here's something on the shows future

Desperate Housewives' Cherry Hopes for Seven-Year Run
Desperate Housewives creator Marc Cherry says he expects the show to run another four years.

“We will be a seven-year run” Cherry told TV Guide at the GLAAD Media Awards in Hollywood over the weekend. “I’ve kind of informed the network and the studio that’s how long I will be with the show and that’s how long it is going to run... and I’m planning accordingly.” The show ends its third season in May.

So is there anything he can tell us about the future? “Just for this coming season, in the finale there will be a couple of weddings going on, an interesting pregnancy story and a major health crisis for one of the main characters.” — Reporting by Carita Rizzo

He's on honeymoon with Bree, so he isn't around.

isn't that also part of the plan to get the girl away too since muscle man knocked her up?

not sure about the whole freezer thing, seemed too familiar for some reason.

See, that's just what wasn't so clear to me. They were talking about the honeymoon, then the next thing you saw he was waving good bye to her as she rode off into the sunset...she was going on some trip somewhere (I forget where) and then they would go on the honeymoon when she got back. Did they ever have an episode where he actually went on the honeymoon?
