CSI - "Lab Rats" - 4/12/07

"Lab Rats"
Spoiler:
Hodges gets his lab-tech colleagues to join him on a covert operation to solve the miniature-killer cases.

TheMovieman 04-12-07 12:45 PM

Spoiler:
Wonder if those who felt Hodges was the MK are right...

Nick Martin 04-12-07 09:18 PM

In response to your spoiler, that theory has been more-or-less destroyed now.

Great episode, though!

Definitely. I really felt bad for Hodges towards the end, when no one wanted to support him anymore. It was good to see Grissom appreciate the work he did; you know that had to make his day.

MrX 04-13-07 01:33 AM

good episode.

Some good comedy on the side with Grissom and Doc Robbins:lol:

TheBigDave 04-13-07 07:21 AM

I'm disappointed. This was really just a recap episode, to bring viewers up to date on the minikiller storyline. There were some cute comedy bits holding all the recaps together, but you probably could have fast forwarded through 80% of it without missing anything new.

Hopefully this minikiller recap means there's some major stuff coming up in the next 4 episodes.

nateman 04-13-07 08:39 AM

I thought it was a great episode last night. This episode was better than last weeks and even through they pretty muched stayed in the station the whole episode it was still pretty entertaining.

I'm pretty sure thats what there doing. I don't know if they will find the killer this season or next, my thinking is that it will be a cliffhanger at the finale.

Yeah, agree. Although I read last night (via another forum) the MAJOR SPOILER of who the MK is... Of course, I won't go into here but you can take a guess where you can find out if you so choose. All I will say is (and this spoiler doesn't say who it is or isn't, just my feeling on it):

Spoiler:
it's disappointing.

Deftones 04-13-07 05:45 PM

Grissom: Do you smell that?
Doc: Yes
Grissom: You shouldn't be able to smell that through your suit.
Doc: Good to know.

More Liz Vassey is never a bad thing for CSI.

Patman 04-13-07 07:14 PM

Sarah was looking pretty preggers in this episode.

Red Dog 04-13-07 08:00 PM

I haven't watched CSI in months so this was a great episode for me. And yes, the Liz Vassey airtime is much appreciated - move her up to a regular. Get rid of Jorja.

I'd get rid of Marg before Jorja, I think; I'd get rid of both if I could.

girlnextdoor 04-14-07 01:36 PM

I liked it. Just jumped a little when the rat made his exit.

Is Jorja expecting?

mike7162 04-14-07 03:38 PM

Little more than a glorified clip show, but still entertaining.

-------------------------------->

wiki
Marg has stated that she was angered at the franchising of CSI. Marg has stated that she is unlikely to stay past her current contract on CSI which ends in 2008. Marg says that with the free time on set she often plays hacky sack with the guys.
good can't wait too see her leave,
I can't believe TV Guide named her one of the sexiest tv stars of 07' or bravo naming her one of the top 100 greatest tv characters.

personally even through i can't stand Marg they should get rid of Louise Lombard before her because she is the most useless character on the show.

riley_dude 04-15-07 09:02 PM

Hodges is a lame character and so was this episode.

Marg sexy? Ug. What the hell was TV Guide thinking? She looks like a piece of plastic when watching the show in HD.

They had to add the Louise Lombard character in because the CSIs were doing too much detective work and not enough CSI work. I guess that was stretching the show's credibility too much ;)

Now that's just ridiculous. If any of the CSI franchise women should make that list, it should no doubt be Melina Kanakaredes, from CSI: NY. She's got everything the others lack, and then some.

Chew 04-16-07 06:53 AM

I guess if you're going to do a clip show, this would be the route to take. But, it was one of the more boring episodes in an otherwise pretty great season.

Truer words have never been spoken.

Pretty good idea for a recap episode. Kept it fresh while refreshing the viewers for the ultimate conclusion in the final episodes.

I think that wiki entry is wrong. That is the exact rumor that was going around when NY was announced. That was supposedly William Peterson's stance and that he was leaving a season or two ago, when his contract was up, because of it. There's always a chance I guess, but looks/sounds way too similar to be legit.

Agreed.
She is nicer looking than Marg & is 10 times a better actor than Emily Procter, who has the acting ability of a stick.

I was thinking the same thing... And even if it were true, they'll just make her an executive producer and a pay raise.

As for the debate with the CSI ladies, I don't really dig any of them. I liked Vanessa Ferlito on CSI: NY (she left/was fired last season), but she was a supporting member...

BDB 04-17-07 12:54 AM

Really enjoyed this episode, it was a really well worked recap ep. Would have preferred more archie, as he's the coolest lab tech.

CPA-ESQ. 04-17-07 11:26 AM

I fast forwarded through 1/2 the episode - and watched the last 20 minutes with the new content.

I do think it is an interesting way to do a clip show
