House -- "Airborne" -- April 10th, 2007

House S03E18
Synopsis: On House and Cuddy's flight from Singapore a passenger gets ill and Cuddy suspects an epidemic. At the hospital, Wilson leads the team as they deal with a middle-aged woman suffering from seizures.

Strains on a Plane!

That was a great episode. Lots of classic House lines.

zekeburger1979 04-10-07 09:48 PM

I didn't think that an episode featuring no interaction between House and his team would be that good. The banter between them was always fun to watch, but this episode proved that it isn't crucial.

Is this the first episode that we don't see House using his cane at all?

I wonder if House had been there, if he would have diagnosed the paitent a lot quicker.

Interesting happenings on the flight. I liked how it went to the worst possible thing to something simple.

I thought after figuring out that the female passenger was pregnant, that House was going to say the same thing to Cuddy to screw with her mind.

"Are you handicap accessible ?"

Good episode. I loved how he picked 3 passengers to play the parts of his team.

This has to be one of my favorite shows. House's witty lines just crack me up laughing.

What did House say Cuddy had? The double ass gene? rotfl

"Crickey!"

Well, I guess I'm glad the Cameron-Chase fling is now over.

House at 38,000 feet still kills.

superdeluxe 04-11-07 01:42 AM

Hah. House tried to look at cuddy's goodies.

mndtrp 04-11-07 01:58 AM

I haven't seen many episodes this season, so I didn't know Chase and Cameron were hooking up. I'm glad I missed it.

I enjoyed how House used the 3 people to stand in for his team.

I guess I picked a good episode to watch for my first House eh?

Yeah, pretty good episode, again with lots of great lines.

The thing with some episodes is that you have no clue what the hell is wrong with the patient, but in this one you get a big clue right away. Immediately I knew the cat in the house had something to do with it, especially the way it didn't move and the food was still there. Obviously, Chase and Cameron have never had pets. You just knew right away it something in the house/environmental and they'd have to come back to the cat.

So I guess Wilson had a $1000 he wanted to part with at the end of the show :)

Probably the best most enjoyable show on TV right now.

House examining Cuddy "I'm not in Heat House!"

Great Stuff!

Except wasn't it odd that a Korean speaking man was flying from Malaysia to New York after a scuba diving trip? Not saying it wouldn't happen, but why doesn't the guy speak even some serviceable English?

He doesn't know what she does. Regardless, Wilson was interested in the concept that someone who'd only known a person for such a short period of time was willing to stick around and demonstrate that amount of concern. Her profession aside, the woman really had a more of a heart than most people!

One of my favorite episodes. Really loved how they were mirroring the case on the plane and the case at the hospital.

Charlie Goose 04-11-07 08:34 AM

Terrific episode.

Stewardess: "Is anyone here a doctor?"
House: "Yes."
(standing up)
"I'll go get her."

Everything about this was great tonight. House picking 3 confused passengers as his team, the case at the hospital, House tricking Cuddy into taking his 1st class seat, the mirror images of the LPs being done simultaneously.

I love this show but I am getting tired of how they are portraying Cuddy. It is like they forget that she is a doctor, let her be able to play at least a competent doctor sometime.

I assume that she is a competent doctor - but she does not specialize in the same thing that House does.. She is an excellent administrator but a House she is not.

So I think it is fair portrayal that she does not stack up against him when dealing with these cases.

I'm not so sure about that.

At any rate. I meant it with a -wink-

Also loved the fact that he was using the kid to help hold down the Korean patient and watch this surgical procedure.. uhh no other Adults we could grab from Coach? :)

TheMovieman 04-11-07 11:14 AM

I missed the part with the cat, what happened? Some kind of disease?

Kal-El 04-11-07 11:14 AM

Loved it. Absolutely loved it. House picking three people to be his "staff", using the movie screen as the white board, the flight attendant speaking in Filipino. Great stuff.

You can't just replace Chase at a critical time like that.

I think the ladies house was connected to another house that was fumigated or something, and the gases spread into her house.

He got SLAMMED. I was kind of surprised after her comments last week.

Looks like Foreman may have a shot. Cameron was so cold!

Bitch!
