Jennifer Lopez will work with the Top 8 finalists on a Latin-themed AMERICAN IDOL Tuesday, April 10 (8:00-9:00 PM ET live/PT tape-delayed), and will perform her new single "Que Hiciste" on the AMERICAN IDOL results show Wednesday, April 11 (9:00-10:00 PM ET live/PT tape-delayed) on FOX.

This show is getting more A-list performers (in the contemporary sense) on their show.

After Rod Stewart was on last season, the sales of his series of cover albums went through the roof, so that has a lot to do with it. Performers are now seeing AI as an amazing marketing tool.

Horrible contestants and horrible themes. And they say AI isn't going down the crapper.

Ratings are down 10% this year, which still means huge ratings, but AI may be losing some of its luster.

This might be the worst episode ever... Which one of these contestants can pull off any latin song? Well maybe we will get to see Haley in a nice pair of J-Lo booty shorts.

Oh, PLEASE let Sanjaya do ANYTHING by Ricky Martin -- it would be comic gold!

Let's face it, we all want Sanjaya to stay. His comic value is Gold.

Otherwise we have to wade through 4 weeks of bad singers til we get to the decent 3 or 4 who are left.

I will take Haley in the dress Lopez wore a few years ago. The green one that was a little shall we say revealing.

Maybe we'll see the return of "She Bangs".

I can maybe see Jordin pulling off an uptempo Gloria Estafan/Miami Sound Machine number. I think most are going to stick to ballads that can easily be 'whitened' or 'r&b-ed' up. :)

Stern was playing some clips and Pink, who will also be a guest coach this year, is a big fan of Sanjaya!

So I am looking forward to that.

I don't watch AI, but I think it's amusing that if it wasn't for that ass, JLO would be on this show..

and probably not even make the top 10...

Considering J.Lo is(IMHO)one of the hottest women around...I will definetly be tuning in. I would pay real money to see Sanjaya sing "She Bangs", and have William Hung come out and help him with the chorus. That would bring the house down!!!! I seriously think this guys got a real chance of winning this year. I love it, because its a big FU to the corporate machine that is IDOL!

These singers suck.

I love the way Blake performs his songs. He may not have a powerful voice but he contemporizes everything he does, and he is a great performer. Everyone else bores me to tears. I like Jordin. Jordin vs Blake final would be fine with me.

Chris R - Bleh. I'm tired of the whiny, nasally, boy band sound in every song. Should have been gone long ago.

Haley - :drool: I still have literally never heard this girl sing. I don't even know if she can talk.

Phil - :lol: Terrible, all over the place and still can only sing in one octave.

Jordin - Not a fan. Tried to do too much with it, never really cohesively came together.

Blake - Not a fan, he looked goofy, and he sings out of one side of his mouth, but this was a damn good performance.

Sanjaya - This is the week he gets kicked off. No crazy hair, decent performance, praise from the judges. Goodbye, Planet Sanjaya!
