Or how about how he could have let CTU take Fayed in, but decided to show him the mic, HAVE HIS ARM CHOPPED OFF to get away, and then sold Fayed out anyway?

Beautiful.

Did Chloe have any lines? I don't even remember and the show just ended 5 minutes ago. The ending was piece of crap. DB Woodside is a horrible actor. Nuke this season.

First half was brutal. Anytime the Palmers talk the show takes a nosedive.

Rest was okay, except for Gredenko's psychotic behaviour.

Yeah, exactly. This show doesn't even make sense on the most basic levels anymore.

I think Gredenko knew they were fucked and that would cause a distraction that would allow him to get away. Where he was planning on going with a bleeding stump of arm I'm not sure

YUP, WHAT THE HELL??

The Prez regaining consciousness/mobility in a very short amount of time (only JACK can do dat!!), then an amputated extremity, and then Gredenko keeling over (When you're alone, and life is making you lonely, you can always go...DOWNTOWN!)....

This is just plain sad. After a very good start, I think the producers know this season's a bust and they're just pulling ideas out of their asses.

Why not? They should just go for comedic value, cuz the last 20 min. was hilarious.

I give this one a B/B-.

It's clear now that the writers have no clue where they're going. They start down one road only to pull back. No continuity. Pick a storyline and stick with it...and make sure it's somewhat original and logical.

I'm only watching the rest of this season because I put so much time in already. But unless I hear they're doing something completely new and different for Season 7, I'm out.

Honestly, I don't even know what we're looking for now. I'm guessing there's some nukes still floating around.

As soon as Gredenko wandered off towards that building, I said "he's leaving that arm behind."

I keep waiting for an episode that will redeem the silliness of the previous one.

I'm still waiting...

I missed tonight's episode for the first time this season. I decided to just come on this thread to see if there were any "Holy crap, now THIS is 24!" type of comments. I'm so depressed, I think I'm just gonna go to bed...

Seriously...what the fuck?

Pretty good episode (loved the Gredenko disarming and the Fayed/Gredenko twist in the bar)...until that totally retarded ending. For real, there is no way they could possibly explain that. It's like the Chewbacca Defense...it DOES NOT MAKE SENSE.

I have a brilliant idea for next season: Jack Bauer fights terrorists in Miami with the help of the crew from "CSI: Miami." Man, just imagine Bauer teaming up with Horatio Caine for 24 episodes of incomprehensibility!

The part I found most unrealistic was that none of the bar patrons had a gun.

So, seriously, is this episode truly when 24 jumped the proverbial shark?
