All in all I thought these were some of most exciting episodes of the whole series. I have never seen one team start a leg before another team had even completed the previous one.
Spoiler:
after season 1's final three where Rob and Brennan were at least a day or more ahead of the Guidos, TPTB decided that wasn't very exciting and tried to do more airport/hours of operation equalizers. I am actually surprised they didn't force the teams onto specific flights and edit out the time lapse.

Yeah, funny. There are some incredible logistical problems with this show. Chopin, the piano tuners, pianists, people in the lab etc. had to be there for hours.

Replying to a previous posts....Yeah they cut the first leg short and I've never seen teams start before the last team gets to the finish. Next seen such long airplane delays.

Thanks magicmom.

Well its probably the same for Phil. I'm sure he doesn't just stand at the finish line for hours waiting for the last teams to arrive.

Yeah and I stupidly decided to DVR the 2 hour episode on NBC instead of CBS

So, I had to download the episode from the newsgroups. I really wonder why CBS doesn't show previous episodes of TAR. They have previous episodes of Survivor online. That is a mystery.
