G4TV.. The end?

All I have to say is.. I miss TechTV.. and Leo.. and Patrick. I hope they're both having a good laugh right now.
G4 TV Moving...A Process of Death?
According to the G4 Rewind blog, as well as the TV Week site, it seems that due to the lack of any sucess whatsoever for the G4 network, as opposed to the former TechTV, the network's studios and staff are being consolidated and merged into that of the Entertainment network. Production crew and the CEO are to be laid off, most likely. According to Kevin Pereria, "As of right now, it means a new set..." Kevin went on with a retarded comment about Ryan Seacrest.
Despite every attempt at improving ratings, G4 has remained low on the rankings, and was 57th out of the 64 cable networks in the third quarter of 2006. The network has shifted somewhat from focusing on video games to instead focus on sex, drugs, and stupidity. There are, in my opinion, only a few shows on that network worth watching, and those are only the shows not produced in house by G4 (syndicated shows, that is). Here's to hoping this is the network's death throws. Maybe Leo Laporte and Chris Pirillo's brainchild Undo.TV will eventually get a TV channel. Until then, we must put up with ongoing trash that G4 produces.
The plan is for the G4 Studios in Santa Monica, CA to be closed on April 15th, and moved to Los Angeles, in the E! Network building.

I don't know what I would do without Attack of the Show. I think I've been watching that almost every single day for the past two years or so. Other than that, I don't care much for G4.

Morgan Webb is so mysteriously hot. She's not "my type," but damn for her I'll make an exception.
Why don't they take the best of G4 and Spike and make one channel. Different corps.?

I like X-Play, even though I don't care much for videogames. I've watched it since it was called Gamespot TV.
Everyone from the old tech tv has their own podcast or iptv show now, so I don't think a new channel is neccessary, but I wouldn't mind it.
AOTS is okay, sometimes. I'm not interested in their non-tech or geek things, and I think they're too accepting of internet hype, but it's not completely worthless.

AOTS is decent but still a pale comparison to the Screen Savers. X-Play is always welcome.

Good riddance. ZDTV and Tech TV were good channels, informative and entertaining for the geek crowd. I know it's a limited audience, but there had to be more people watching the Screen Savers than ever watched the idiotic Star Trek 2.0.
G4 is nothing but MTV for gamers, which is fine, but they can't even cater to that crowd right. Reruns of COPS? I know Thunderbirds wasn't "cool" enough for the hyperactive case-modder crowd, but couldn't the come up with something better? Or anything at all, for that matter?

the network annoyed me. I like games and tech but the show hosts annoyed me and then the fill time in with shitty reruns.
Morgan Webb is really a man and those that think she is hot, need to step out of the closet.

Maybe Morgan will do playboy or something now.. That would be a big seller with the many video game fanatics out there, then again they're the guys who would just look at them online for free.

AotS is the perfect Tivoed show - an hour-long show that takes me less than 15 minutes to watch, usually while I'm cooking/eating/cleaning up after dinner - same with Xplay. They need to dump everything else (and seems like they will).
