Scrubs - "My No Good Reason" - 3/22/07

"My No Good Reason"
Spoiler:
J.D. and Turk try to forget that Turk's new nanny is hot; one of the Sacred Heart staff members goes into a life-threatening coma.

Snowmaker 03-22-07 08:39 PM

What does the producers have against Hugh Jackman? That was the 2nd shot at him this season I think.

Goldberg74 03-22-07 08:48 PM

-pray- for Laverne.

Turk's unattractive Elliot was :yack:

Ronnie Dobbs 03-22-07 09:08 PM

Who was the nanny? Hot damn.

monkey42 03-22-07 09:37 PM

There's been lots of shots against Hugh Jackman in the past

MrX 03-22-07 09:44 PM

JD's "date" was pretty funny. "Let's go bang"

Ranger 03-22-07 09:50 PM

"Let's go bang"
The high-fives were even funnier.

Good episode all around.

When will the show come back?

reubs82 03-22-07 10:01 PM

Anyone know who the nanny was/is? The whole faith/fate thing kind of bugged me b/c I thought it was done in a hokey way. The "sit-com" episode with Clay Aiken was on earlier tonight on syndication, and that reminded me of how good the show used to be. I hope it rallies soon, and tonight was a good one. Maybe my disdain for the show is actually a disdain for Zach Braff, though...

Ranger 03-22-07 10:07 PM

When will the show come back?
OK. Got it - April 5.

groovrbaby 03-22-07 10:10 PM

HAHAHA, the ultimate guy group lie had me rolling. So awesome.

I think I've said this before, but Bill Lawrence , the creator of Scrubs, is jealous of Hugh Jackman because he can't believe the someone could be that talented and good-looking.

The ultimate guy-lie had me rolling as well as the interaction between Elliot, Janitor and Kelso.

The nanny was hot, but I thought Sarah was hotter standing there in the classroom in her bra. Anyone want to post a screenshot? :)

I suspected it was Laverne based on the dialogue and the way that they kept shooting her throughout the episode. The framing and the lighting gave me clues.

The ending reminds me why Scrubs can do hilarity and pathos like no other show on television can.

great scrubs episode this week,

yum.... i want her so bad.

i still think this show can do both comedy & drama at the highest quality unlike any other show on tv today.
i watched that andy barker P.I. after this and god the second episode was even worse, at least raines was on after that to get that shit out of my head.

I was pretty happy w/ this ep.

J.D. grasping Turk's leg to calm him down. Mexican football lie. J.D.'s dream date w/ the nanny. Good stuff.

And the Laverne coma was spoiled for me a few weeks ago, but it still got to me.

Hugh Jackman is Wolverine. How dare they.

Solid episode. I thought this was the episode when we'd find out why Cox was bald for the clip show though. Or is that the next one?

Count Dooku 03-23-07 01:37 AM

I say Chris Turk's pants are on fire because he is most definitely a liar.

He says that he will no longer find any woman attractive after JD has had sex with said woman.

BUT-- JD had sex with Elliot in the first season, and Turk was having some pretty racy dreams about that same Dr. Reed in season two.

And, yes, I did point this out just so I could post the pics.

Well and in an earlier episode we saw
Spoiler:
Laverne flying (with wings?) which was supposed to be a hint that she was going out-of-body or become an angel.

I hope that's not true because she always has the best one-liners:

This was the first episode of the season that just felt like classic Scrubs.

Like any war movie when a character talks about life and faith or says goodbye to someone, you know they are going to get it.
I like here. I hope they don't kill her off.

Good episode!

movieking 03-23-07 10:21 PM

Good episode, especially the guy lie. That was hilarious.

CKMorpheus 03-24-07 04:55 PM

Great episode. They've finally getting the funny back. I laughed outloud on several occasions.
