The cages they use may be different too. The entries on the King Crab cage is probably big enough that an opilio could get back out. They are designed in a way that smaller King Crab are supposed to slip back out too and only leave the big keepers. Could be totally wrong though and the pots are exactly the same.

There is a decent article on the Hansen brothers in the March issue of Viking magazine (the Sons of Norway publication). Kind of interesting to read about how they all treat the publicity. I like how Norman actually spends his winters in a cabin that can only be reached by snowmobile.

Incidentally, "After the Catch" was pretty interesting.

Is it me or is the luster wearing off this show? I loved it when I first started watching (and just in awe over the conditions and how they fish) but now the stories seem tired and forced. Each episode just feels like a repeat.

Caught the new season preview last night, looks pretty good, can't wait for this show to come back. Looks like the new season starts April 15th and they start running repeats and season "best of" specials starting the 31st.
Also, could anyone please post the link to the thread of the guy who had a friend who died of one of the fishing boats, I couldn't find it in a search, but maybe didn't have the right key words.
