does Ando have powers as well? I mean, Hiro left him behind, only to find him working as a guard, in the same hotel, AND was the first to respond.

Someone has some serious lucky charm magic going on for all those stars to align. Was there some comment made as to how he just happened to pull that off?

That's good to hear, I would be disappointed if there is no some sort of conclusion at the end of this season and this Sylar/Save the World plot continues to drag on.

No. But I believe Hiro made a statement last night that he himself was no hero without Ando's help - backed by Ando showing up in the nick of time to help get the sword and Hiro taking Ando with him to the future.

Thankfully, we don't have another Alias (Rambaldi Crap) or Lost on our hands.

so, he got hired as security that quickly? or are we to assume that certain strings were pulled so that he was there? I don't mean to look for logic in some of the situations, but for a character that is one of the more popular, you'd think this sort of magic employment would be explained.

still a very nice episode ...

Just caught this ep. One word: AWESOME. Best of the series, IMO.

And as much as I'm loving the story and characters (well, except for DL), I love the look of the show just as much. Really cool how many of the scenes are blocked to look like scenes/compositions from a comic book.

i had heard on e! in one of the future episodes, everything is destroyed, but it was a episode that takes place 5 years in the future. this makes me think most of the cast will stay around in some way.

Spoiler:
And it would confirm what Kring said about having 5 years of storylines already planned out.

I don't know if there's been any mention of this in previous "Heroes" threads, but there is an interview with Greg Grunberg over at the Onion's AV Club where he says:
Spoiler:
"We're shooting an episode… we're about to shoot, where it's five years in the future, and it's not the Matt Parkman that anyone is used to seeing. My character is in a place that is really dark, and I'm not going to play it like this menacing, evil guy. I'm just going to play it as normal as possible. That, to me, is the way to make the most impact. Let the actions speak louder than the words."

kiddk1 - I can kinda see the comparisions .. He was a bit sheepish, but who wouldn't have some kind of esteem issue if you could hear exactly how everyone thought of you. So, he was a bit on the meek side. Another case in point was when he found out about his cheating wife. It isn't like he really took charge and did something .. He just kinda let it slide .. I still wouldn't be surprised if the baby isn't his.

Man, great episode. Excellent cliffhanger. So glad that Suresh was maybe only playing dumb.

Cool stuff. My only complaint:
Spoiler:
Where was the Mr. Muggles storyline in this one? They were all over him last week.

Mom: "At least she’ll be safe now, but no thanks to you".

Haitian: "I did everything I could; she would have found her own path eventually".

So does this mean that Sylar is the ceiling demon who killed Sam & Dean Winchester's mom?

So Hiro must have saved the painter dude by changing time some how. The first time he jumped the painter was dead. I wonder if he did something to the phone so it would be busy Sylar couldn't call him.

Or maybe that event hasn't happen yet and two cops just happen to be same ones that showed up when the painter was killed.
