need some help with ABC.com and "Lost"

First of all let me start of by saying that if this post isn't "legit" then please pull it from the forum.

Here's the thing.

My brother is a big 'Lost' fan. He is in the UK and they actually are up to date with the episodes that we're currently watching. The episode we get on Wednesday nights he gets on the following Sunday night.

However, the cable company that he has (NTL) is been taken over by Virgin, and as of today they pulled a couple of channels, and yep, you guessed it, the main one that shows 'Lost'.

I know that ABC.com has all the episodes in full, however, when he tries to access it it tells him that only viewers in the US can watch full episodes.

My question is: Are there any ways around that so that he can still keep up to date with everything?

Any help or suggestions would be much appreciated

There certainly are "ways". It all depends on how legal he wants to be.

And it only took two responses for one of those "ways" we cannot discuss here.

Want to e-mail me the details of working that Slayer2005? I would take it off my tivo, but I have the Directv one which doesn't let me transfer to my PC.

Isn't there some way to use a proxy site to then watch the episodes on ABC.com's streaming site?

Run a proxy for him. (will let him access the net using your ip)

Well, I'm in Puerto Rico (US Territory). We get Lost at the same time people in the mainland do, but still, the jackasses at ABC.com consider us "international" and I can't watch the episodes from the site. I have emailed them numerous times, but have always recieved canned responses. Does anybody know how can I solve this problem?

See Rich's answer.
