Will be interesting to see what state of mind Antonella is in tonight under the spotlight.

I just checked out the dialidol website.... no wonder they are so accurate... out of the top 12 last week 9 had the "predicted to be voted off" tag..... not too hard to have a near 100% accuracy rate if that is how they do it.

Gina did a pretty good job. She looked great in that red dress.

Alaina was not good. But, she is a bundle of cute. And seriously, her and Ryan would look great together.

LaKisha did pretty good. I think she will go a long way. It was nice to not see her BELTING it like I expected.

Simon: "It's kind of a dusky grey." when describing the color of his shirt. :lol:

and I agree with it being interesting how Antonella reacts tonight...I would wanna quit if I were her. :shrug:

Melinda Doolittle: amazing job. I was tearing up.

Antonella is singing Celine? Didn't they say something like she can't sing those big vocals? Uh oh...

Jordin Sparks is hot! (Reads bio...) I mean she'll be hot in a year or so...

Damn, Leslie was singing in tongues tonight.

My pick of the night is Melinda. She's incredible.

Antonella needs to go, followed by Leslie.

Gina: “Alone” - Still just an average voice to my ears, plus inviting comparisons to Anne Wilson and also Carrie Underwood without the pipes to back it up.

Alaina: “Not Ready To Make Nice” - the out of breath singer just keeps on, but not all that impressed.

Lakisha: “Midnight Train To Georgia” - sings far too effortlessly, she'll be sticking around.

Melinda: “My Funny Valentine” - good vocals, but you can't quite see her eyes when she sings, it looks weird.

Antonella: “Because You Loved Me” - I had to laugh when I realized she was doing a Celine song after being told last week's Aerosmith's song was too big for her. She hit one long notes, but very uneven performance.

Haley: “Queen Of The Night” - It was okay, but lacks charisma.

Jordin: “Reflection” - Not too bad at all, she's a natural, even at her young age.

Leslie: “Feeling Good” - singing in tongues is never a good idea (the scatting).

Stephanie: “Dangerously In Love” - Good use of the lilt in her voice through the song.

Sabrina: “All The Man That I Need” - She was pretty good tonight, despite what Simon thought. She did seem to run out of steam, though.

I think Leslie and Haley will be on the outs, though Alaina and Antonella are also vulnerable to being given the boot tomorrow night.

We were cracking up during her performance, especially the telekinesis drumming! She was like Sylar! :lol:

you guys are INSANE if you think the American public won't keep Antonella around for at least a few more weeks. Leslie is definitely gone.

I think they will only keep Antonella around in hopes of more nude pictures show up. :lol:

Stephanie killed Beyonce on that song. She is my favorite of the girls by far.

Can you think of a better reason? :) Watching now, Melinda Doolittle, although she creeps me out a bit, gave one of the best performance I have watched on AI. Now I want Antonella to stay just because she is such a car wreck. Also, I really like Jordin. She is my "sentimental" favorite to win it all.

Well, there seems to be a pretty clear Top 6 at this point. Lakisha, Melinda, Stephanie, Sabrina, Jordin, and Gina (by default) - in that order. There is a huge gap between those six and the rest; although I think they were particularly harsh with Haley tonight. She was actually very good IMO.

Alaina and Antonella SHOULD be gone. Alaina and Leslie probably will be gone. If Haley leaves it will be a shame because although she is certain not to win this thing, she deserved better from the judges tonight and should stay for another week.

Melinda is my favorite of this bunch and Lakisha is a close second. However, Sabrina would be the most marketable winner IMO.

Paula needs to sit her ass down. I am sick of seeing her stand up during the performances and trying to dance while in her drunken stupor.

I like how she claps like a monkey. Open fingers and all.

I've always likened Paula to clapping like a seal as well.

What was going on with Paula's hair tonight?? She had one long strand in the center of her forehead just bobbing and weaving whenever she spoke. It was driving me nuts for a while, then my wife said, "Maybe she is auditioning for Something About Mary 2"! rotfl

I really like Haley and hope she sticks around for awhile. She gives me the same vibe as Katherine McPhee did when she is on stage.

Melinda was just as good this week as Lakisha was last week!

My vote to leave is Antonella and Leslie, with the other guy up in the air after Sanjaya. Hope it's not Nick, as he is from my town! :rock2:

I love Melinda, but she has no neck at all and it is absolutely distracting. The whole time she is singing I'm wondering what is holding her head up.

I think the remark made by Antonella about Simon being wrong about Jennifer Hudson was way off base. She is no Jennifer Hudson.

My top 6 is the same as everyone elses. Lakisha, Stephanie, Melinda, Sabrina, Jordin and Gina. I dont care when the rest go home, just as long as they go.

The men dont throw it down like these women do.

I don't see Leslie Hunt sticking around after that performance. It was just weird.

I gave Gina Glockson twenty-five votes as well as ten for Haley. Gina isn't going to stick around for much longer, but I would like to see her make it at least one more week. Nice range but the competition is just too strong.

And Antenella Barba - horrible performance but she'll stick around. Great looking and has tons of name and face recognition thanks to the pics of her (both real and fake) popping up.

Leslie was the clear zero on this show. It's down to Alaina and Hayley for who's next. I'd like to see Alaina stay as she reminds me of my major crush - SMG.

Heat, I agree that Gina probably won't make the top 12. Not that it bothers me, as I absolutely despise her as a person. Simon is totally right - she's not authentic.
