Meh. Thought the animation was mediocre at best. And the story pretty dull.

What are the odds that if Scorsese wins tonight, he'll bring it up.

kinda funny hearing helen mirren say Borat: Cultural Learnings of America for Make Benefit Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan

Supermallet 02-25-07 08:50 PM

Borat is considered adapted because Borat existed before the movie!? I guess Reno 911! was an adapted screenplay as well.

Deftones 02-25-07 08:50 PM

God, this would be comedy gold if Borat won and he accepted in character. But, personally, I'd prefer Children of Men to win it.

The Departed

Supermallet 02-25-07 08:53 PM

Aww, I wanted to see Borat accept. Still, can't argue with the choice.

Deftones 02-25-07 08:53 PM

That's a good sign for Marty.

Dear Academy Producers,

Thank you for having Helen Mirren read that excerpt from "Notes on a Scandal." Fantastic.

Hokeyboy 02-25-07 08:53 PM

My girlfriend says that Moynahan looks like Cousin Oliver from THE BRADY BRUNCH, all growned up.

Daytripper 02-25-07 08:53 PM

All GREAT screenplays. "Notes on a Scandal" was particularly well done.

beatccr 02-25-07 08:54 PM
