Wow no mention yet of The Rockford Files.

One of the best themes ever!

No love for the animated classic known as 'Batman: The Animated Series'? Shirley Walkers' theme was excellent and I don't think any other animated series has ever even came close to such a theme...

With that said..

Married with Children
CSI NY

Those are the only two live action TV shows that I can think of.

Angel
Buffy
The Office

Re: TV themes you NEVER get tired of hearing?

I saw this (resurrected) thread and as I started reading through the pages, I realized that I can't think of a TV show theme (for shows I am a fan of) that I don't enjoy hearing over and over.

A few rise to the top:
Quantum Leap
Ducktales
Deep Space Nine
M*A*S*H
The Office (UK)
Welcome Back Kotter
Firefly
The X-Files
Millennium
The Rockford Files

After thinking about it a little more, I guess there are a few themes that I am not a fan of: The Facts of Life (but I didn't really like that show anyways,) American Dad gets a little old after a while, and I was never a fan of the Stargate: Atlantis opening.

This. That's the only theme song from a tv show I ever downloaded, and I listen to it on a regular basis on my exercise playlist.

That's my favorite opening. The music and animation are both great. I never noticed that there was no text during opening until I was listening to one of the extra features.

Never get tried of hearing:
Different Strokes - I haven't seen this show in a long, long time but always liked the theme song.
Cosby Show (last season) - I just finished up watching the last season on dvd and like the music (horns and drums standout).
X Files - good sound effects and I like the whistling.
