Good episode. Thoughts:

- Possession! Wonder how Sammy got possessed in the first place?

- Also wonder if the friends of that dead hunter will show up in the future

- Cool to see Jo again (...so she has a thing for Dean, hmmm)

- So is that story about how her dad died true?

- Great to hear my all-time favorite Doors song ("Crystal Ship") in it!

- And why didn't the boys have charms like those Bobby (?) gave them all along?


(And I really liked the "cheesy" trailer for next week's episode! Is that going to be the show's "comedy" episode, perhaps?)

That's the one thing I didn't like about this episode. There really was no "build-up" to the "Meg Possession".

This should've been a nice little ole 4-5 episode arc that could have shown us:

-Meg's Escape
-The initial possession
-Sam going on a kill spree
-Meg's Exorcism
-Sam/Dean being Hunted.

The entire episode I just kept thinking: why don't demons just continually target hunters for possession? Possess, shoot yourself in the head, repeat. They could clean the world of hunters in no time.

Then my biggest WTF moment of the episode: Oh, here are some magic charms. Wear these, and you can't get possessed. You'd think hunters would know of those and have them on at all times.

(Unless the charms have some downside, like attracting baddies or something. Hmmm.)

I agree that it woud have been better if they built the story up instead of throwing us in halfway through it

I just figured possession requires some willingness or weakness by the one being possessed, so not just anyone can be possessed. (Sam, however, has the weakness of being one of the "chosen army").

BTW, on a different topic, did everyone notice Dean's ringtone?

Although it was nice to see Alona Tal again, this episode did nothing for me. I'm guessing that we eventually see Jo turning on the brothers because of the death of her dad.
