It was an okay episode. Not one of Surnow and Loceff's better efforts. I thought the whole Walid storyline was wasted.
I cannot wait for Jack and Grey's 2nd encounter in the chair next week. Loved Jack's line "You will experience pain like you've never imagined."

This was for my money the worst episode of 24 ever and for the first time I don't really care about.......well, anything. Last week's reveal was just too over the top even for this show. I'll still watch but this is like watching some past his prime athlete stumble around and embarrass himself.

Just that.

Even the best TV writers have enough common sense to know you can't write 24 episodes of non-stop slam, bam, thank you maam action. They have to slow down the pace and have a little more plot and character development which alot of people call "filler" episodes.
I agree 100% with MartinBlank's comment.

i think the lack of jack sorta took the air out of this episode.. he had pretty much no screen time for the whole middle half-hour..

They could have an entire episode without a chase, a gun being drawn and even without Jack snarling one of his little "scary" lines to a bad guy, but if the dialogue moves the plot forward in a sensible way, I'm happy.
Bad writing is bad writing, whether it's a cougar, Terri getting amnesia or the garbage "concentration camp" and blackmail subplots we were subjected to last night.

The good news is the next few weeks should see the introductions of Powers Boothe and Rick(y) Schroeder as well as the return of the Logans.

I thought it was interesting enough, but I still don't know what that blonde in the car is up to. We haven't seen her before last week, have we? Probably CIA or something like that.
