Figures. I finally get an HDTV and now I have to choose between these two shows. I gotta get a way to record in HD.

I agree. I'll be working tonight anyway, so I couldn't watch either live even if I wanted to. But even on my off days, the most live I ever watch my TV is about 15 minutes into the broadcast so I won't have to watch any commercials.

oh yeah, I never watch anything Live these days. owning 2 Dual tuner DTivos, a standalone dual tuner Tivo, a single tuner Tivo, an HTPC and now a Series 3 dual tuner HD Tivo makes for plenty of no commercial viewing here.

24 without a doubt. I have enjoyed Heroes, but it's just not THAT good. I might Tivo it.

I wanted to watch the program featuring Doctor Who and Mr. Sulu this year, but I'm too addicted to 24 to do so. And I don't have DVR either.

Heroes repeats on Friday night on SciFi... so it is a no brainer - 24 tonight. Plus people are more likely to spoil 24 for me.

Gonna watch 24 and DVR Heroes for tomorrow. Wife is a 24 fan, but not so much Heroes, so easy decision.

Definitely Heroes -- I have more faith in Claire, Peter and Hiro being able to prevent nuclear armageddon than Jack (who's now 0-2 in stopping nuclear bombs).

This was my train of thought too. However, i'll be keeping an eye out for Heroes later tonight.

And, Chris, I came thisclose to adding this poll in the Heroes thread. Stay out of my head!

Neither. I'll be watched Prison Break from the previous hour on my tivo, then I'll watch the other 2 shows. I don't like live tv because I can't fast forward through the commercials.

Interesting to note that Rena Sopher plays both Jack Bauer's sister in-law on 24 and Peter's wife, Heidi Petrelli, on Heroes - competing shows.

Haven't read this thread, as I'm afraid of spoilers...

I watched Heroes live and Tivoed 24, which I'll be doing all season long. I'm really tempted to watch 24, but the plan right now is to watch all 24 episodes in one weekend/week long marathon at the end of the season. I just can't bear the thought of waiting a week in between "hours."

I don't do live tv. I wanna skip the commercials.

But I watched Heroes later. 24 is a show I would rather watch in bulk.
