This show is really becoming a drag for me. And yes I saw the COPS ep, never laughed once. I Dont really look forward to the show anymore. Looks like S1 was the best of it. I kinda knew it go down the crapper when the guys who did Yes Dear where behind this.

Oh, thank God I'm not the only one. However, I did enjoy last week's quite a bit more than that. I still look forward to each episode, however, and tonight is no exception!

How exactly does one make amends with the deceased? And I totally forgot Randy and Catalina were married. In fact, I forgot all about her until just now.

I hate my cable company so much it hurts. No TV all night (I already missed the premiere of '24' last weekend because of cable outage) so far (that means no 'Earl' and no 'Office'), and it doesn't look good for me catching '30 Rock' either. If it's still out by the time Colbert meets O'Reilly I may have a stroke.

If this crap keeps up, I'm just gonna ditch my cable provider entirely and watch shows when the DVDs come out.

He was closed up in a defective Murphy bed.

Yep, you probably did miss it. I have the Comcast Motorola DVR (some apparently have a Scientific Atlanta Comcast DVR), and it seems that the guide was changed from listing two 30 minute episodes to listing one hour long episode. When that happened either on the Wednesday before it aired or on the day it aired, it didn't show as scheduled to record. I posted about it in the episode thread as soon as I saw it, but I'm sure that was too late for most.

Pretty good episode. Loved seeing John Waters.

Thought the epilogue where Earl talks about Josh's friends who played poker online getting together to actually play poker in person as the sit at a poker table...

...and flip open their laptops with an online poker game setup.

My insight box missed it as well. Fortunately I record them all on my Mac as well, so I still got to see it.

I thought it was another great one. Loved Darnell's clip-on tie. And the Humpty Dance was brilliant. Too bad there is probably a generation of kids that know nothing of it due to the rap genre's 15 minutes of fame mentality.

I also loved the ending how he had tons of online friends. Very cool. The guys getting together to play poker on their laptops was funny.

After seeing Catalina & Randy together this episode, I like it. They are kinda cute together. Hopefully they don't abandon it too quickly, it might make for some great storylines.

Loved the bit about meta references to online bloggers. Loved John Waters as well. I hope they make him a recurring character like they have with some of the other guest spots.

The shoutout to TelevisionWithoutPity is much more elaborate than it first appears ... check out this thread starting with post 2626:

Spoiler:
Somebody from MNiE set up a TWoP account over a year ago (whojackie) and has been posting in character as Josh, mentioning getting a Murphy bed, etc., including the exact post that was quoted in the show. Not only that, but somebody else has been setting them up with straight man posts.

Lame episode. The ending was good but the first 2 acts really blew. As my dislike for the show grows I nitpick it more and its harder to enjoy. Characters are really getting annoying and Im positive Catalina has suffered a stroke.

Theres no turning back and this show is probably gone for me.

The whole scheme with TelevisionWithoutPity is the greatest thing done in recent TV history. Love the way they set that up, even if almost all the viewers didn't get it. It's still a good nod to the 'net community.
