Rob and Amber: Against the Odds (Series Premiere 1/11/07 on Fox Reality)
I figured some of you might be ready for another fix of Rob and Amber so here you go.
in case anyone is wondering Fox Reality is on channel 250 on DirecTV. I'm guessing Comcast has different channel lineups everywhere but in case you're local and have digital cable its on channel 108 here.

CURRENT SEASON:

DESCRIPTION:
(from FOX Reality's press release) Reality darlings Rob and Amber Mariano [of "Survivor: Marquesas" (Season 4), "Survivor All-Stars" (Season 8) and "The Amazing Race" (Season 7) fame] are set to enter the most challenging phase of their young marriage: Rob's desire to risk their earnings by becoming a professional gambler. Fox Reality, the only all reality, all the time channel, will track the ups and downs of this charismatic couple in a brand new original series for cable and satellite television. The new Fox Reality Original, "THE ROB & AMBER PROJECT (working title)" is a series of ten, half-hour shows slated to air on the US cable and satellite network beginning in January '07. Having wed on national television in 2005, Rob now wants to take the couples "Survivor" and "Amazing Race" winnings and parlay them into millions more by moving to Vegas and becoming a professional poker player. Amber, his ever-supportive wife, is not so sure about this.

I liked them on TAR, but I hate any of this family shit they put on with celebrities, like the Hogans, Gene Simmons, Britney/FedEx, Dave Navarro/Skank, Jessica Simpson/98 Degrees, and the Blink-182 drummer and his dumb-as-dirt wife.

Lordwow, couldnt agree more, but wait. your from Boston. no love for Boston Rob? as far as the amber in playboy thing? umm, i dont know, guess i would check it out (i DO have a penis and all) but im not really holding my breath for it

Unnecessary... Yeah it probably was but it sure hit the nail on the head.
I stopped watching Survivor after the All-Stars and I don't see what people see in these two... but to each his own I guess.
Anybody else think life is going to go full circle for these two? In a couple years Amber will be back in Beaver working in a dinner and Rob will be doing construction work, now that might make a good movie.

I'm recording this for a friend who doesn't get Fox Reality.
I'm no fan of either of them but I watched the first 5 min and let me understand this...
They have Tv cameras hooked up all over the place and that first morning while they're brushing their teeth....we're supposed to believe that THAT was the first time he brought up the Vegas and learning how to play professional poker? And the cameras are there because?????
