Spoiler:
It's time for Michael (Steve Carell) to revisit his roots with the company as he hits the road for sales call duty. Meanwhile, Dwight (Rainn Wilson) attempts to cover up a crucial deadline missed by Angela (Angela Kinsey) while Karen (Rashida Jones) is in for some surprising news.

Next week:

Spoiler:
Oscar returns!

Great episode so far! rotfl

DVDpackrat 01-11-07 07:59 PM

I have never laughed so hard, Jim hit the brakes on Dwight.

Jack Straw 01-11-07 08:03 PM

Oh man, lot of twists in this episode. Yeah, Jim really F'd with Dwight good in this episode. Too bad for
Spoiler:
Dwight that he got stabbed in the back by Andy. I predict that Angela will come clean and fall on the sword to disclose the real reason why he quit. There's no way that they would write out such a funny character who is a great foible for Jim. Plus I'm sure Rainn can use the $$$'s. I think ultimately Andy will get pushed into the river of chocolate. Also, too bad for JAM fans wanting a happy ending.

I loved when Dwight got pumped up listening to Motley Crue prior to him and Jim going on the sales call.

Also:
Michael throwing the keys under the car
Michaels Talking Computer: "Boobs"
Jim hitting Dwight
Ryan taking the lead
There were so many rotfl I'll need to watch this several times to catch everything.

Oh, and Andy is a complete douchebag.

Flay 01-11-07 08:04 PM

Holy crap, Angela is going to bring the smackdown on Andy!

Ravenous 01-11-07 08:06 PM

Damn was that a hilarious ep. That slap was too damn funny. Its odd, the ep seemed like a season finale. Im so happy this hasnt gone stale like earl. And damn I hate that dude that got Dwight out. Ive hated him since he first appeared.

Oh and Rashida still looked great.

PalmerJoss 01-11-07 08:07 PM

I cannot wait to see what Angela has in store for Andy. When Michael finds out how Andy sabotaged Dwight, I'm sure we'll see some fireworks; we all know how he feels about being stabbed in the back by a coworker.

Big Dave 01-11-07 08:15 PM

I am not a laugh-out-loud type person, but that slap definately made me do just that.

A fantastic episode.

Jobronie 01-11-07 08:16 PM

Phyllis' glance at the camera.......

heavy liquid 01-11-07 08:17 PM

I need a screencap of that picture of Dwight and Jim toghether. :)

JasonF 01-11-07 08:35 PM

Great episode as usual. I loved Jim & Dwight's sales call. I had no idea who Dwight was calling -- I loved the way they reminded us that as goofy as he is, Dwight is still an effective salesman (Andy -- not so much).

Ryan's line was good too about being Stanley's second choice after "pass."

The Bus 01-11-07 09:00 PM

That slap.

Loved Jim and Dwight on the sales call between the slap, Dwight rocking inside the car to pump himself up, and how they then worked great together to make the sale.

Jimmy James 01-11-07 09:10 PM

I know nothing about where the show is going, but the timing of this going into sweeps makes me think Jim and Pam team up to right this wrong and at least one of them falls for the other as a result.

Indeed, I think we could see a Karen/Pam/Jim massive fight coming up. Karen is obviously very concerned about Pam now, and she's going to be overanalyzing everything.

I believe that song Dwight put on in Jim's car was the guitar solo from Motley Crue's "Kick Start My Heart" I really like how Dwight is into that hard rock. Good stuff.

Andy didn't really sabotage Dwight other than bad mouthing him on the sales call. He just pointed out that Dwight was in New York.

Who doesn't get pumped up when they hear that?

MadMark 01-11-07 09:43 PM

Michael: I want you to think about your future at this company. I want you to think about it long and hard.

Dwight: That's what she said

Michael: Don't you dare.

Those were fantastic moments, One of the FUNNIEST episodes yet. I just loved when Jim slapped Dwight, didn't expect and laughed so hard out loud. Cant wait to find out what happens to Dwight and Angela and Pam and Jim.

Micheal typing Boobs was really funny too. This is show is probably my favorite show of all time. Every week is great.

That was brilliant, I didn't see that coming at all.

Another gem was Andy flipping the whole New York thing onto Michael as "Well Jan is in New York..."

Derrich 01-11-07 10:03 PM

The look on Angela's face at the end gave me chills.
