I thought this was one of the best episodes of the season, although I didn't find a lot of laugh out loud moments. I did like the development of the Andy/Dwight storyline, and it was pretty interesting seeing Michael in 'all-business' mode throughout most of the show (after the opening teaser of course). Also interesting to finally see Dwight as an entirely sympathetic character, and Andy as the closest thing to a real villain that they've had on the show.

Andy did get the best laughs of the night for me with his analogy about the Stamford people and Willy Wonka, and then later echoing that with his version of the Oompa Loompa song.

It's also the same song and ritual he used in the stairwell before asking Michael for a raise in season 2.

One of the 3 funniest episodes of the season.

I still never laugh at Stanley, other than his frantic look when running to the pretzel line.

People have mentioned most of the big laughs, but I loved Jim slamming the phone shut on Kelly before she could go off.

Also, I love me some devious Phyllis.

Really, we all know that picture of Jim and Dwight was the best thing about that episode.

Great episode, btw!

It wasn't just the slap, it was the whole setup.... It's easier to defend and attack from the front...WHACK! I had to rewind that and watch it again.

Definitely one of the best of the season. It was cool how they paired everyone up and showed them actually working. Again Michael shows how great a salesman he is despite losing the sale because of Andy. Jim and Dwight worked great as a team, and that photo was hilarious.

Was it just me or did the shots of everyone in their cars not look HD? They just didn't appear as crisp as the office scenes.

I noticed it, too, but I think that was the intent--to make it look like an "Amazing Race"-type dashboard-cam set-up.

Well let's not forget the great reaction of shock that Rain Wilson gives when slapped, it completely sold the slap. I was laughing so hard that I don't even know what Michael and Andy said to the client they were trying to sell to.

I agree. I think the episodes in general are better whenever they show the characters doing some kind of actual work. The best element of the show is it's basic grounding in the day to day realities of the workplace, and when they get too far away from that, I think the show suffers.

This show just keeps on delivering the funny. Many people may disagree, but I think this season is as funny as last if that can even be possible. This, the merger and the opener are probably the top 3 of the season. This show blows almost every other comedy out of the water (except scrubs).

Omg.....this is one of their best episode!

A lot of good moments.

I must say, Thursday nights on NBC keeps on getting better and better with The Office and My Name Is Earl.

Hope everybody noticed that all groups got their sales, except Micheal and Andy!

Phyllis and Karen going to get makeovers....

Karen is so smokin. Jim needs to think about staying with her long and hard.

Excellent episode (except for Ed's pomposity). Jim and Dwigt were gold.

Obligatory "That's what she said."

Very funny episode. Young Jim and Dwight and this pic are classic:

Loved this episode.

Unfortunately, I changed the channel during one of the commercials and came back too late. I completely missed the part with the slap that everyone is talking about.

The lead-up, the slap, Jim's facial expression, and Dwight's reaction were (to me) the funniest thing I've seen on television this season. It was just so unexpected, I'm still laughing about it.

Great episode from start to finish.

Can't believe nobody mentioned Michael coming out of the women's restroom and finally turning to the camera at the last minute and exlaiming that the men's room was disgusting.

If I'm recalling the canon explanations correctly, Jim has been there 5 years, Pam for 3, and Dwight for 2? It may be a year more now, but they mentioned this in one episode. Jim has definately been there a while.
