I'd like to know who thought it would be a good idea to give Rick Fox a job. His Tony Montanaesqe pronunciation of cockroach was awful
What the hell happened to Shannyn Sossamon's career?
No slutty outft for Laura Allen this week

Any chance this will get cancelled and we get the Shield sooner?
I also read an Eddie Izzard show will be on FX. What show is this?

Both Shannyn and Courteney are pretty damn hot in my book, but I don't get the channel, so I shall have to wait to see how crappy this show is until it shows up online.
Last thing I saw Shannyn in was 'Kiss Kiss Bang Bang.' She was still pretty darn cute, but didn't have much of a part.

This show is totally DOA. I honestly can't think of a saving grace besides the women. Wow, I'm actually agreeing with the critics on this one...

Watched this again this week. Tedious is all i can say. Liked the boobie tassels on the hooker, was hoping for a clam shot of the vib in action but no luck. Photographer guy is getting too weird for me, and the guy that was in Third Watch is getting kind of annoying.

I saw about half of the episode, and I thought it was pretty good. I can't really explain why, but it was entertaining, kept my attention, and made me lose track of time (i.e. I didn't know there was X% of the show remaining - I only realized half was left because I turned it on after watching another show that was only 30 mins long and started at the same time).
(I realize that those may not be metrics they teach in film school)

I can't explain why I seem to like it either. I would normally agree with Finisher, but I guess I care more about fictional celebrities than real ones.

I didn't care for Over There. Didn't care for 30 Days. Andre Braugher was great, but overall, Thief was mediocre. Starved sucked.

For balance:
Actually I do like this show. The writers actually seem to be revealing a little more of the backstory each week and the characters aren't nearly as strange -- or as unlikeable -- as they first appeared.
And no problems here with "cock-a-roach". Then again I've been known to stutter when I'm raging mad.

I rather like the show, and I'm not just a FX sucker. I found Over There to be unwatchable and gave up on Rescue Me after 1 1/2 episodes.
It's not great drama, but for me it's just hard to look away from a show that manages to make Nip/Tuck seem normal in some regards.

t'was okay. I really don't feel like sticking around for this show, but at the same time I'm somehow drawn to it.
Access Hollywood or someone made a much bigger deal about the solo scene than it really was...but I suppose, it's still pretty racy for non-pay TV.
I have to say, I was able to go on the set of this show back in December. The creepy photog's apartment is really disgusting...and they've hardly shown any of it. Plus, the lighting is always dark, so we don't see all the lengths they went to. When you walk in, you're prepared to plug your nose from the stench, but there's no smell.
The production designer happened to be on set that day and went into an exhaustive explanation of the colors she chose for the bedrooms/characters and the pallete the show would use...kinda weird, being that few people will pick up on it. She mainly based the characters colors on a painting in Julia's room.
It was still pretty cool being on the set, though

I caught up with this week's episode last night and am still going to tune in. For whatever reason, I'm cautiously optimistic this show will turn out okay.

FX will most likely show the entire season. From what I've seen/heard (and according to the tour guide at Paramount) they've invested a lot into the show. The set is pretty elaborate, etc...
but that may mean nothing if an audience isn't there....I'm just sayin.
and, can anyone confirm as to whether FX has ever pulled the plug on anything early and shelved episodes?
