What's on your DVR now that shows "restart" ?
I just finished updating my DVR.
Must-sees EVERY week (in order of preference) 1. 24 2. Survivor (in Feb) 3. Grey's Anatomy 4. American Idol To a lesser extent (i.e. I won't be terribly upset if I miss a week, but they still get recorded): 5. House 6. Psych 7. Monk 8. Dirt 9. In Case of Emergency DVR Fillers: * Judge Judy * People's Court * Friends * 30 Days (I watch it mostly on DVD) * Dr. Phil * Scrubs (watched originally on DVD). These are DVD-only shows since there's only so many hours in the week: 1. Scrubs 2. Lost 3. Desperate Housewives 4. Friends 5. Sex And The City 6. Previous seasons of Monk (going to start real-time now) 7. Previous seasons of House (going to start real-time now) 8. Scrubs (I'm caught up to the end of S4 but I plan a S1-4 marathon soon) And I get to watch movies at work, and have about 3-4 hours a day to do so. I've used that time to watch Seasons 1-5 of "24" in the past 2.5 months (average of 7 days per season). I try not to watch DVDs at home. Next up (starting as soon as S1 gets to my library): Alias the complete series. Since I heard Jack Bristow thinks he can kick Jack Bauer's butt. And no one messes with Jack Bauer :D So what's in yours? Yes I spend way too much time on this at work :( |
I only record "Must Sees" - no filler for me. I have DVDs for that.
24 Lost Earl Office Scrubs ER CSI Heroes Studio 60 |
Prison Break
Heroes Studio 60 SVU Friday Night Lights Survivor Office Scrubs Monk Las Vegas |
The only new shows I watch (while Nip/Tuck is between seasons):
Desperate Housewives How I Met Your Mother The Class Studio 60 |
Since you asked (in order of when they come on and not ranked)....
King of the Hill Simpsons Family Guy American Dad Desperate Housewives Brothers & Sistsers Heroes Prison Break 24 How I Met Your Mother The Class The New Adventures of Old Christine Studio 60 on Sunset Strip The Shield Dirt The Closer House American Idol Veronica Mars Bones LOST Knights of Prosperity In Case of Emergency Medium My Name is Earl The Office Scrubs 30 Rock ER Smallville Supernatural Everybody Hates Chris Thankfully, I DVR most of that so I can skip commercials! Looks like I'm going to have to catch the rerun on Heroes on SciFi since Monday is now totally busy! If I get the HDTV I'm eyeing, I may watch some of those shows live (esp. Heroes, Veronica Mars, Supernatural). On DVD, I'm trying to get caught up with the new Doctor Who and rewatching Buffy all the way through. |

Also there's some new shows like Dirt and the Emergency one, but there's a break in series (either returning or new, starting or continuing their seasons) during the holidays, and January is a major month for TV. |

Saved got the ax as far as I know.
I still watch most shows live but here's the DVR list Judging Amy (catching the reruns on TNT) Lincoln Heights (recorded the premiere last night so we'll see) 24 Studio 60 CSI: New York Law & Order (so I can watch Psych when it returns next week) I'm debating on whether I should keep Shark. It's a decent show but the last episode really pissed me off. |
