Didn't Sean say something about going back to school to Matt? I will not be shocked when he enrolls at Sunnydale U.

Also, there's no way Liz will be left behind. They'll play the whole "without you guys and Alanis around, there's nothing for me here in Miami" card.

As for the ep itself, I thought Sean wanted to find himself WITHOUT Christian. So it only takes a musical montage for him to realize he was full of shit after all?

So at the end of the season, I can safely say I'm back on board after the Season 3 fiasco.

4 definately had it's ups and down, but it certainly ended on a high. [Outside of the musical montage - please. And I also noticed that the show got MUCH more enjoyable once Julia left. Hrm.] For the first time since the season 1 finale/season 2 premiere, the countdown for between seasons is going to be quite noticeable. A nice fresh start is what this show desparately needed, and it looks like it might get it.

As for the episode - loved it. The throwbacks to the first episode, and actually killing off a character that mattered as promised was a nice touch. I really hope that Rosie signs on - her character was fantastic. Perhaps the move to LA was a way to facilitate that....

I loved the music montage. Love the song too. I have been playing it over and over.
Didn't feel sorry for Matt at all. Let's see he let his friend take the fall for his drug use and he is in prison for him (they never went back to that plot). He also cut up the Dad last season (they never went back to that plotline either). He has been a jerk to his father and then Sean gives him money? He didn't deserve a cent of it.

They need to give Kimber her own spin-off series.

It's not just that she's beautiful, I think she's a really good actress, and a very interesting character. She makes every episode she's in better just by her presence.

Have her dump Matt, miss-carry the baby, and have the show be about her trying to break back into the porn industry as both a producer and a performer, while trying to juggle the ridiculousness of Scientology. That would be awesome!

I half expect to see Kimber do much of that on Nip/Tuck next season. It would just be too good to pass up being in LA and not having her around to bounce off the Hollywood Scientologists or the porn folks in the valley.

I didn't like the music montage, is was too cheesy having them lip-synch along. I thought the episode was good though other than that.

Has anyone read the article in the LA Times?

(beware the spoilers in the article)

http://www.latimes.com/entertainment...ck=1&cset=true

Spoiler:
It sounds like Liz, Matt, and Kimber will indeed be making the move to LA. The story also confirms that the Julia character will visit.

I finally got around to watching the episode (the holidays just got the best of my TV viewing these past 2 weeks). I thought the episode would never end (tying up the subplots with Michelle and Escobar), but then they flipped it all around with the sing-along and showed us the new direction the show was taking location-wise, and since both surgeons are now unattached (though Troy has Wilbur), on the loose in Beverly Hills, I hope the show gets the creative boost it needs after a so-so 4th season.

Does anyone know where they got the skin to make new breasts for Escobar's wife?

I finally just watched the episode as well. I loved the music montage-- it almost seemed like they were poking fun at how every other network show seems to end with a music montage in order to express the character's emotions, so I think having them sing along was sort of a sly nod to that.

Who was the artist that did the song? Was it written for the episode? The lyrics seemed perfect for all the characters, but I couldn't tell if they wrote the episode around it or vice versa.

The musical was sure a hell of a lot better than the season ender last year. Thee conclusion of the Carver storlyline was lame at best.
The group who sang the song was The Submarines and the song was Brighter Discontent.

I heard Joely Richardson is suppose to return for season 5 since her daughter's surgeries went well. I don't know about bringing Julia back in the picture now that the show is getting a fresh start in Los Angeles.

As much as I like Julia, her and Sean's scenes were getting repetitive. Better to go in a new direction.
I think I heard she would only be making apperances.

Julia is a whiney self absorbed bitch. The show is better without her.

Not to mention Joely can't act. I hope she stays gone.

If Julia comes back, I would like them to finally hook her up with Christian. They have been dangling that carrot for so long, and her relationship with Sean has finally run its course. The only interesting thing I would like to see her character do is try to have a relationship with Christian.

That would also further complicate the Matt-Kimber storyline as well.
