The Class (11/20/06) - "The Class Gives Thanks"
Spoiler:
Last night's ep was laughs a minute. I was rolling most of the time. I loved Perry and his father-in-law. That was great. You could read it from a mile away, but it was hysterical. We got a little bit of Ethan (which is always good)... but just the right amount of Richie and Lina. I for one am glad I stuck with it. |
Me too. I just watched it on the DVR. Great episode with a good mix of the characters. Wonder if the Lina/Richie relationship with end up being a Ross and Rachel situation over time.
Previously I have thought that the Holly/Kyle storylines were dead weight and too over the top, but over the last few episodes, they have been the best of the show, including this one. The FIL was hilarious. Good Yonk/Duncan stuff too. |
i am also mildly liking this show. certainly not an amazing show, but not bad, either. i'd have to say that i liked last night's show, except for yonk's daughter. that was just dumb.
i thought the kyle/holly pieces (which have always been the worst parts of the show) were actually decent last night. got a few laughs out of them. |
Some great lines:
Holly's Husband to Kyle (about Father-In-Law): "Could he be any gayer?" Holly's Dad to Kyle (about Holly's Husband): "Is it it just me, or is he a little light in the loafers?" Duncan's Mom: "The silverware that is at the big lady's seat, can just go right back in the drawer." Fern to Richie: "I'll make your life a living hell!" Richie's response: "Um, what's the difference." Yonk to Duncan (about Nicole): "It's like I just found a manual about her." rotfl |
"Make way for the apple brown betty!"
"Run, Richie! You don't want the Pam!" It's like three shows in one so far, but a worthy coupling with HIMYM. |
