Send the retard home.

girlnextdoor 11-09-06 12:26 PM

I voted Aitu because that is who I want to loose the IC.

devilshalo 11-09-06 01:00 PM

Just so we can see who's left.. because I think the numbers game will really come into effect after tonight.

It's not that I mind, but episode threads are supposed to be started no sooner than the morning the episode airs. I think every Survivor thread this season has been started on a Wednesday. Not that I mind of course and appearantly neither does Jadzia.

I don't care who goes as long as it's not Ozzie. I would like to see Yul get the votes at some point. He's one of my favorites, but that would suck if the secret immunity idol doesn't come into play again. I'd like to see him make it to the end at this point, but only after the game gets turned on it's ear by playing the idol.

mrpayroll 11-09-06 01:33 PM

Ozzie is this years Tom.

Well, Tom is the best overall player in all of Survivor history (note: have only seen Survivor since the All Stars). :D

Damn, way to be a Survivor thread nazi... :)

The reason I start the Survivor threads Wednesday night, and have for several seasons, is so that the poll ends before the show begins. Although the polls have been of little interest so far this year they do tend to ramp up as we enter the home stretch.

In the past, the polls would not end until the morning after the show and we would have dozens of people "miraculously" guess the correct answer.

Lame reasoning but there you have it.

I did not know that. Now I do. At least it won't continue to drive me crazy now. :D

It would have been funny if they would have had the sense to have ALL of one tribe mutiny. They would have all won the reward then and messed up the immunity challenge. Oh well.

Not that it matters because I give this new grouping one episode before they merge.

zuffy 11-09-06 07:21 PM

That was a very interesting move by Candance and Jonathan. I wonder if it will benefit them or not.

zuffy 11-09-06 07:56 PM

Jonathan is SO friggin lucky that Brad is one fucking dumbass.

SunMonkey 11-09-06 07:57 PM

9 member jury?

No, it would 10 ... but that would not work because of the possiblity of a tie. What about a 3 member final?

mwbmis 11-09-06 08:45 PM

No matter what happens, even if she makes the final 2, I don't think that was a good move by Candace. She was completely insulated from any vote off for the next few tribal councils (if they went). Instead, she's made enemies well before it was necessary.

Jonathan's impulsive move was dumb for different reasons, but I don't think he had much of a shot of winning anyway.

In my mind, the only hope for the Aitu four at this point is Jenny and Rebecca. They seem to be closely allied, and Rebecca and Sundra were very close. Jenny also may have a relationship with Becky and Yul.

cdollaz 11-09-06 10:25 PM

Biggest bonehead move ever by Candace and Jonathon.

All because Candice couldn't let go of her crush on the idiot Adam. Jonathon really had no other choice at that point.

I was thinking.. the second they did that.. Brad and Jenny should have hopped to the other side. And then it's a numbers game with favor tilting towards Aitu because of Ozzy. It will still be a numbers game without Brad since they're still singling Jonathan to go next.

Just like with every other "biggest twist in Survivor history."

If by "interesting" you mean, "dumbest thing anyone on <i>Survivor</i> has ever done <i>ever</i>", I agree. Absolute best case scenario, even if you somehow don't get voted out as outsider on the new tribe, no one on the old tribe will ever give you a million dollars after that. Candace is somewhat lucky Jonathan came with her, because she was looking at a guaranteed 5 votes against -- now it's at least down to 4. Not like it matters, though. Outsider in one tribe, hated to the core by the other. Gee, that should work out well.

Agreed. Candace is a complete moron. The merge is probably a week or two (3 or 6 days in Survivor real time) away, and she makes one of the stupidest move in Survivor history.

That thought crossed my mind as well. Of course you could split 9 votes three ways...

Jeremy517 11-10-06 01:07 AM

My thought was maybe they'll have a challenge between the final two, where the winner gets one free vote.
