Desperate Housewives - "Bang" - 11/05/06

"Bang"
Spoiler:
A hostage situation at a supermarket changes everyone's lives.

dpz301 11-05-06 08:52 PM

wow. crazy episode so far. "i believe the words you are looking for are thank you". that lady is a nut job.

skatefan20 11-05-06 09:05 PM

Nora, u just couldn't shut ya trap!

"Thank You!"

Episode had me on the edge of my seat!

Patman 11-05-06 09:11 PM

Pretty strong episode. Felicity Huffman needs to mail this episode into the Emmys for her Best Actress award consideration (unfortunately, DH is classified as a comedy. Haha).

very strong episode for her after not alot of people liking her story line thus far this season. should be interesting what happens to her after this episode.

Meathead 11-05-06 09:15 PM

Great back to back episodes. This is the DH I remember from the 1st season.

Rogue588 11-05-06 09:56 PM

so...who got shot?

Jadzia 11-05-06 10:03 PM

Wow. Best episode of the series. I literally had my mouth open in shock for 5 minutes after the shot and by the end of the episode I was all choked up.

MrX 11-05-06 10:15 PM

I said thank you after she shot her. That storyline had gotten pretty annoying. If only a stray bullet would have taken out Susan it would have been the greatest episode in tv history.

Loved the Carlos and Gabby scenes

Three folks:

Stockboy got shot in the shoulder
Lynette got shot in the arm
Nora got shot through the heart, and Lynetta's to blame.

Patman 11-05-06 10:27 PM

Well, Bree's not off the hook for the bloodshed.

Rogue588 11-05-06 10:33 PM

Yeah, after asking here, I found out who it was on a TV blog spoiler from October 20th[!]. Only after surfing over to IMDB did I realize who it was.

Meh. It sounds like a pathetic way to solve that whole ex-girlfriend/love child conflict, but whatever. I'm still three eps behind, so maybe they'll change my mind somehow.

Anyways, thanks Josh.

Maybe it was all the violence (I love violence) but this was the best DH episode ever!

Patman 11-05-06 10:56 PM

[borat]You lika the violence? Niiice![/borat]

marty888 11-05-06 11:05 PM

Terrific episode - they are going to have a tough time maintaining this level, I think.

the big train 11-06-06 12:00 AM

"The Nine" in one episode!

This is exactly what I was thinking. I just hope they can keep it up.

High Five!!!

Snowmaker 11-06-06 07:11 AM

What ever happened to Lynette & Tom's daughter?

Patman 11-06-06 07:15 AM

I think their boys buried her in a backyard somewhere...

My wife and I have been joking about the whereabouts of Penny for a few weeks. It's like she's been Chuck-ed (dated Happy Days reference)

Ha Ha! I was thinking the exact same thing! Oh, and then I threw in a little "War of The Roses"!

Ayre 11-06-06 07:29 AM

Cleanup in aisle three .... and four.

The tension of the supermarket scenes was excellent, as was the resolution. I liked the War of the Roses homage as well. Glad to see Brenda Strong again. If she makes an appearance, it usually signals a great episode.

Pezcore 11-06-06 07:31 AM

Anyone recognize the guy in the supermarket who threw the can at the crazy lady? It's the same guy who played the boyfriend of Laurie Metcalf's character (Fisher) on Roseanne who beat the shit out of her. Eh, not important, I just got a little chuckle out of that. Is he also the new neighbor on Wisteria Lane?

In last night's ep he was just moving into the Young's old house with his "invalid sister"

Damn, I may be in the minority, but I'm going to miss crazy busty pale Nora... :(
