Very nice staging of the opening sequence so that we couldn't tell who was or wasn't in the store.

I don't like the storyline they are setting up with Susan's daughter. Just seems forced and out of character for her.

They are just re-cycling the Danielle subplot from last season.

Felicity Huffman needs to win the emmy. The way she made the veins in her head pop out like that was crazy.

Now they get the daughter without the crazy. Lynette is going to feel extremely guilty, and will try to overcompensate with the daughter (more attention/love).

Bree might start drinking again from the guilt of telling the truth to crazy biatch.

Gabby and Carlos back together, because sometimes, you realize what is really important (Although I loved the war of the roses shtick)

Yes he is also the new neighbor..caring for a sister? He pretty much saved lynette's life...sooo maybe.?

I just read that he is also Laurie Metcalf's real-life husband. So he got to throw a can of peaches at his wife's head!

I was thinking the same thing at the end of the ep.

I kinda expected Nora to be the one to get shot and killed (and was happy to see it). But even expecting it, I was shocked by how it was done. It made me jump a little.

Not liking the storyline with Susan's daughter, but I guess we'll see what happens.

But I'm also upset to see Laurie Metcalf go. I've always enjoyed her, but I can't recall the last thing that I had seen her in until her stint here. I would have liked to see more from her character. Plus, she was the only one who was really pushing Bree to find out more about her new husband.

Besides Gabby and Carlos' "War of the Roses" stuff, probably my favorite moment was when the neighbors went over to Bree's and she was entertaining all those people and the one neighbor says, "I told you she'd have food." :lol:

This was a top notch episode IMO... it moved a lot of storylines forward, introduced new ones, and wrapped up old ones. It actually felt like a season premiere. I really enjoyed that the sense of community was back in this episode. For the first time in a while I felt the bonds between the characters, even thought they weren't even in the same physical place. So much of season 2 and even some of this season there's been that feeling of everybody doing their own thing and only interacting for exposition's sake.

Glad the psycho chick is gone.

Well, well. Looks like DH just came back with a very solid episode. Possibly the best one ever. :thumbsup: to the writing team.

Awesome, awesome episode. The only bit I didnt really enjoy was the end, where Lynette's dream changed. Something about the way the lines were delivered felt a little forced and unnatural, but the rest of the episode was terrific. I loved the conversations between Susan and Tom in the parking lot.

They will both find a deeper appreciation for home improvement shows...

Gee based on how many people posted in this thread, who knew this many DVDTalkers were still actually watching this show holding out hope it might get really good again. Never underestimate the November sweeps. :lol:

I was wondering if anybody else was tired of that crap. And at the end of it all, after causing perhaps millions of dollars to their house, they suddenly decide to try to make another go at it? They are both morons and psycho, so I guess they deserve each other, but I am tired of watching their train wreck of a relationship every week.
