I'm not sure if this is considered a 'spoiler' so I'm putting it in a spoiler tag because I don't wanna get yelled at..
and well.. also because I just learned how to do it. :)

Former West Winger Rob Lowe is joining the cast of ABC's sublime family drama Brothers & Sisters as a love interest for Calista Flockhart. And get this: He's playing another politician — a Republican senator who Flockhart's Kitty meets when he appears as a guest on her show, "Red, White & Blue."

Brothers & Sisters cocreator Jon Robin Baitz tells me the part was "tailor-made" for Lowe. "It’s funny and smart and charming. It had to happen.”

Lowe's first day on the set is Friday, and he debuts on Nov. 19.



I was just about to dump this show.. but now.. even though I'm not a huge fan.. I may stick it out and see how it plays out.

I really enjoy this show. What's not to like? The casting is stellar, and this addition only adds to that!

This show is actually surpasing MEN IN TREES as my favorite new series of the season (It reminds me so much of me and my siblings though)
