Freakin' hilarious episodes. I'm an atheist myself. This was funny funny shit. I thought they burned religious people pretty good too, albeit more subtle, though when the little girl's parents tried to shield her from learning something different about human existence after basically saying that they had spent all the time brainwashing her to believe one thing already.

Meh. Garrison has become my least favorite character on the show by far. I cant stand episodes that feature him/her heavily. Didnt care much for the Buck Rodgers stuff either. But hey they're still 4 for 5 this half season IMO. 80% is not bad at all. I just hope they dont actually continue that ep.

I thought this episode was funny up until Cartman was in the future, that was pretty lame to me, I agree with sven I hope they don't continue this episode, I'd give it a 7.0/10, this being one of the three episodes this season that I didn't enjoy.

I'm just glad that all the self-proclaimed atheists (myself included) here can admit they still enjoyed this episode. Not many other groups are so willing to tolerate or even laugh at such criticism of their beliefs.

Isn't atheism actually the absence of beliefs? Whereas agnostic is more the choice not to believe or do I have that backwards?

Atheists (generally) believe there is no God.

Agnostics (generally) believe there's just not enough proof one way or the other. There might be a God.

Hmmm. If you consider convincing Isaac Hayes to quit the show as "handling it pretty well..."

Hey, any time there are no lawsuits filed and no major bits of furniture jumped means they're taking it pretty well in my book.

Hilarious episode but I think I'm scarred for life after those sex scenes, just beyond gross... Funny to see there's absolutely no mention of the PS3. Cartman had me crackin' up with him goin' nuts waiting for the Wii...The turd throwing scene had me rollin'...

That's what I've always been.... maybe there is a god, maybe there isn't. I don't think it really matters. I've considered myself agnostic.

"Atheism - the view that God does not exist;
Theism - the view that God does exist;
Agnosticism - the view that no one (or, alternatively, the person who calls himself or herself an agnostic) knows whether God exists."

Does anyone have a transcript of Ms. Garrison's lecture on evolution? I may need to go over it before the test.

Courtesy of Wikipedia:
Butters and his friend Dougie try, unsuccessfully, to find Cartman; meanwhile, 500 years in the future, Cartman is told that his unfreezers could give him an old Wii from a museum, but there is a catch. In the future, everyone is atheist, and believes only in science (they often say things like "Oh my Science" and "Science Damn you!," but mock Cartman using similar, religious phrases). They tell Cartman they think someone he knew caused this, but before they can tell them who, they are attacked by another atheist group (the United Atheist Alliance, or Alliance Atheist), who kills the first group (the Unified Atheist League) and takes Cartman. They then contact a group of superintelligent sea otters (the Allied Atheist Allegiance) with whom they are also at war, who tell Cartman that the world will soon be theirs.

Hmm.. let's see. They find Cartman a Wii at the Museum of Technology in New New Hampshire but before they take him to it they need to discuss why they unfroze him, because someone he knew was responsible for removing religion from the world. Then a warring atheist faction busts in and the two factions fight it out.. the ones who unfroze Cartman losing. Then they faction bring up a screen with a third atheist faction (being sea otters) claiming to them that they have the "Time Child".. the sea otters talk some smack ("I'LL CRUSH YOUR SKULL LIKE A CLAM ON MY TUMMY!") and then you see a ammoed up, Rambo-style sea otter over a fiery horizon cocking a gun saying "So it begins.." fade out, "To be continued.."

Episode was a really good reminder that even if religion ceased to exist, we would still find something to fight and kill about....

South Park is just annoying these days. I forwarded over most of it.
The part about the Wii was kind of funny, that's about it...

Two words: played out.

Yeah, that's why South Park is being written about everywhere recently about how good this 10th season is.
