I don't remember that. I do remember him being incredulous that House was able to diagnose his problem just by looking, and I think he may have asked for a swab to be tested, which probably any other doctor would've done. House was rude in his responses from the word go though, starting off with his response to Morse complaining that he had waited an hour.

Yeah, but still kicking House's cane to make him stumble and lecturing him afterwards was a bit over the line.

Was making House stumble over the line because House is crippled, or would it have still been over the line if he had tripped an able-bodied doctor who had been rude and condescending to him?

And Morse's assessment of him was him was pretty spot-on for such a quick judgment. House has used his cane in the past as a prop to get what he wants, although I think his irreproachableness in the hospital has a lot more to do with his results than his disability.
