Summary:

Nancy's big day is marred by Silas's disappearance, Shane's inflammatory graduation speech and Celia's madness. Of course, nothing compares to the chaos she and Conrad find themselves in when their weed deal goes all wrong.

Shane's speech was awesome

Lots of shit going down. Peter's dead thanks to Heylia, Nancy has no weed, no money, and 5 guns aimed at her, Shane's on his way to Paraguay with Kat while Andy and Abumchuk are right behind them, and Silas is about to be busted with a shitload of weed in his trunk.

I thought last season's cliffhanger was better, but this was still a good one.

and to think, i almost started liking silas at the end of last week's episode.. :rolleyes:

the doug/dean stuff was great.. the punch in the neck had me rotfl.

great to have the original theme song back for the finale! can't wait til next season.

I've been guessing at Peter's demise since about halfway through the season.. but the rest of the that stuff, wow.. crazy. I guess that means there's going to be a season three at least, I'm thinking now that I was probably a bit naive thinking that things would wrap up, even if just a little bit.

Best grad speech EVER. Silas is a little fucker... I thought the weed would be gone, but when we saw the Drug Free Zone sign, I nearly shit myself...I did not see that coming! Awesome finale...showtime had better announce a Season 3 pickup soon or I'm going to kill someone.

We don't really know if Peter is dead. We didn't see it. ;)

Eh, I doubt they'd keep him alive. They had to close that story arc somehow.

Some things to think about..

Sanjay left in the closet.. with his phone.. there's no weed left in the house, right?
What was the safe combination and how did Silas know it (Judas's birthday?)..?
Do you think Doug and Dean reconcile after their.. ahem.. fight?
Will "Voldermort" rise to power again?
What is Silas's fate? Getting caught with 38 pounds of lettuce seems a bit.. much.
It seems like the whole Kat/Shane/Andy chase is the only thing easily resolvable.

You need something other than the quick little blurb right after the finale that said season 3 would be coming in 2007?

Wow what a way to end a season. QUITE the cliffhanger. The last 5 minutes or so my mouth was agape! I was screaming, don't end it like this! Don't end it life this! Roll credits...

When does next season start?

I'd wager August 2007. Yikes!

All I could say after it was over was "SON OF A BITCH!" I mean, last year closed really clean yet opening up doors and setting up continuation in more of a "hint-hint, nudge-nudge" fashion. This time they're basically making you pain through the next year.

It would be painful to wait a week for the conclusion of this. A year? I can't bare it...

Regardless of the blurb, it still has not been officially picked up for a third season, AFAIK. To me, they've written themselves into a corner.

I laughed when Doug was holding Dean down danging a glob of spit over him.

That was a helluva cliffhanger ending. It just makes me want to scream. Weeds has became one of my favorite shows and I really don't want to wait for a new season.

Did it ever say what the combination to the safe was?

Even though Peter turned into an asshole the last few episodes, I was still kind of sad to see him get capped. Kind of.

I loved Peter's turn. Shows the damage a woman can do with her lies :)

excellent ending to the season, and cant wait for the next.

I was finally able to catch this episode.

All I have to say is wow. The Silas angle blew me away - I did NOT see that coming. I didn't realize that Kat really was that nuts. Kidnapping Shane?!

Also, I LOVED the inclusion of the Dengue Fever song at the end. PixyJunet, the track is called One Thousand Tears of a Turantula off of the band's Escape from Dragon House album. Awesome track off a great album by a very fresh band.
