Gordon Ramsay's "The F Word" on BBC America

I know BBC America is not really a widely watched channel on the forum, but did anyone happen to catch the premiere of this on Sunday?

I thought this show wasn't nearly as good or compelling as Hell's Kitchen or Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmares. This was more like a traditional cooking show with Ramsay dropping an f bomb every now and then.

Since I'm a fan of Kitchen Nightmares, I wanted to check this out, but my DVR was already recording a couple of other shows, so I had to bump this.

Heh, from the title I thought it was a parody of The L-Word.

I found the series to be quite interesting, and very much liked the show. Ramsay is always entertaining in his way, and in this series he even dares to poke some fun at himself at times.

However I didn't find the show as riveting as ones like Kitchen Nightmares, for example. One reason may be that too much time is spent away from the kitchen and Ramsay's often fanatical drive for perfection against those who would dare oppose him. Also, it is a bit Anglo-centric for American audiences. Very few of the celebrities that he has visit are ones Americans have heard of. But the production values are much slicker, and Ramsay is Ramsay. So I would still definitely recommend it.
